POR best room location?

I know this has been discussed many times on this board, but it's getting confusing with all the renovations.

I'll be leaving on 3/8 and have a water view room with an AP code. I also have 2 toddlers with me. Would rather not have a smoking room/building.

Which building should I request? (I know it's 'just' a request). Or can I not go wrong just by having any water view room?

I know many people like AB 14 & 15 and possibly 27 also, but I'm not sure if these are being renovated during my stay (3/8-3/16).

I would like to be near to the food/front bus depot/etc, but I also would like to be near the entrance to Ol' Man Island. Walking to breakfast with 2 toddlers in a stroller will be less stressful than walking back from the pool with 2 wet toddlers who did not want to get out of the pool when I did. :teeth:

AB 14 & 15 look close to everything but not as close to a pool entrance than 27.

Would Magnolia Bend be appropriate? Or is that just for couples?

I also wouldn't mind being near a Quiet Pool as I know the main pool is going to be overwhelming with 2 toddlers.

Please help me!

Magnolia bend is certainly not just for couples. I've stayed there several times solo and seen lots of families. I'm partial to Magnolia Terrace. It's right next to a quiet pool, has a real pretty gazebo facing the water, and is a short walk to the main building, going by the pool and playground. Enjoy, I love POR!

Try Building 17. We asked for 14/15, like everybody else, but no luck. I groused a bit but found that I LOVED this site! It was right next to the quiet pool and close to the laundry (we were staying 8 days). The walk to the food court was about 5 minutes, but the walkway was so pretty we didn't mind it a bit. We managed the big pool a couple of times and the quiet pool a couple of times. Had we been in 14/15 I probably would never have tried the quiet pool.
