POR best building location

I was just wondering what buildings besides building 14 at POR are somewhat close to bus stops and the main food court/main pool? What about building 27? It looks like quite a walk to the main bus stop and main building. We will have 2 small children so would like to be close to all, but probably bus/food court most impt. Thanks for the help.

When we were there last August I had requested either building 14 or 18 in the AB section. We got building 14. It was close to the main bus stop and the food court and one of the quiet pools. It was a little bit of a walk to the main pool, but nothing too bad. (my kids were 5,4,and 3 at the time). Most of the buildings are near one of the bus stops, I think there are 4. The main bus stop always had people at it, but it was never crowded. I think builiding 16 might be in the same location...good luck. Also, you might want to consider asking for a first floor room. We were on the second floor, and since there were no elveators (I thnk they have them, but only for handicap accessibility) we always had to tote our strollers up the stairs at the end of the night.

I thought the map looked like a long walk to everthing, but when we arrived we found most of our walks very short. We stayed in the Magnolia Terrace building. Had a bus stop right by us. I actually over shot it one afternoon. Thought it looked so much farther away. I had to back track. The walk over the bridge to the main food court was maybe 5 minutes. We had a quiet pool right outside our building. The main pool was less than 5 minutes. I think when you get there you will see what I mean.

BF and I were in bldg 18 last Steptember when we were at POR. I loved the location! It was back a little ways from the walkway but very close to the main building and the bus stop. It was a short walk to pretty much everything and we loved our room! It was great! We were in room 1839!

We also stayed in Magnolia Terrace last summer. I thought the location was perfect. I preferred the Mansions over AB, they seemed a little fancier and more elegant. (Just my personal perception) The location was close to the Main pool and had a nice quiet pool. The walk to the food court was fairly quick and the bus stop was close by. I would highly recommend that building, we were very pleased with it overall!

About how many rooms are in each building number? I need something close because my mother has a difficult time getting about. It sounds like 14, 15 and 18(looks too, I printed out a map) are the closest to everything. Like I said just curious to how big each numbered building is.

Was your room in Bldg. 18 refurbished (fridg in room without asking, changing curtain by sink area)?~~
