POR..any chance of checking in early??

We are arriving Dec. 19th early in the morning, well about 10am, to the resort. Has anyone ever had any luck to check in early? I realize this is a busy time of the year but it would be so great if we could even get in by 2 instead of 3 or 4. Thanks for any advice or tips.

You can check in at 10 AM. If your room is ready they will tell you the room number and off you go. If it isn't ready they will give you a card with a phone number to check and see if your room is done.

If you want to check in and then head off to the parks you can. You don't need to stop back at the desk when your room is ready. You just go straight to your room. You can avoid the lines at 3 PM when everyone else is trying to check in.

We have done this many times.

We have always gotten to the resort around 10:00 or 11:00
and we have never had to wait for a room.

My DH and I checked into POR in August at 9am. Our room wasn't ready, but they gave us the card with the number to call and check on our room. I called at 11am just to check on it since we were near the resort at the time....the room still wasn't ready but the CM had them expedite our room and we were able to get into the room by 11:30am. The CM who helped us get in earlier was so nice, she said she didn't want us to have to leave our bags in our car in the heat while we went to a park.
