POR and questions

Hey everyone, we are going to WDW for 6 nights in April (the week after easter) and are staying at the POR. My Inlaws are coming as well, but staying off site. Is it feasible to have them meet us at the POR and then take resort transportation to the parks, or will they need to just meet us at the park? Also, since we are traveling with 3 kids under 6 we plan on coming back to the hotel and taking a nap... Is there a lobby area at the POR that some of the adults could hang out in while the kids lay down? I m guessing the room will be pretty cramped, but I don't want my inlaws to have to drive offsite and then back in less than an hour...any ideas?

Your inlaws can park at POR while visiting you. They will need to show their driver's license and say they are your guests. They can park in front of the lobby area. They will not get any type of parking pass usually, unless the resort is crowded, then they'll get issued a 3 hour parking pass.

There is a nice lobby and lounge area at POR.

There is a very nice lounge and lobby area....the seating area for the counter service there is very large too, plenty of places to sit and relax with a nice view. If the weather is nice you could lounge around at one of the pools or outside benches.

Yes, they will be able to park at the hotel and use the resort buses or boat with you. In the lounge area, there are several tables with chairs and couches to relax in. There are also tables and chairs at the pool bar.

It's a GORGEOUS resort to hang out at! The grounds are beutiful. Take a stroll, hang out by the pool, rent a surrey bike, have a snack at one of the little outdoor tables, the possibilities are almost endless!!

...and don't forget to find the playground behind the main pool. Your kids should love it (mine did!)
