POR AB 1st or 2nd floor?

Hi there,
We're travelling in August and was wondering if we are are on the 1st floor, is there alot of noise from the people walking on the second floor? I know there will be typical noise, but I would be concerned if we could hear every little step. We'll be travelling 2 9 dd's a 2yr old dd (who is a pretty light sleeper, there'll be no letting her cry that week ) so I'm not sure if we'd be better off lugging the stroller up the stairs everytime, or just staying on the ground floor. Any feedback would be appreciated.

Go with the GROUND floor! We have stayed at POR three times, and have always been on the Ground Floor. Last spring we took our nine month old daughter and loved not having to carry the stroller up and down. Infact they gave us a room right up a wheel chair ramp so we would not have to go around the building to get the stoller up the steps. Tell them you have a stroller baby! It is so convinent to just roll the stroller in the room!

We have always requested bottom floor corner room and gotten it. We were always situated where no one ever walked by our room and to me that noise is much louder. We never hear the people upstairs, but I hate hearing them walk outside our room and windows. Always felt like our own little private porch.

We've stayed on the ground floor twice no "extra" noise . . . there's a second floor?!?!
