Some buildings in POR do not have elevators - Do you have to carry up your own luggage or are there bellhops?

We've always had to carry our own at Caribbean Beach (also no elevators), but maybe if you ask?

We have always carried the luggage ourselves, but there is bell services there and they will bring your luggage to your room if you'd like.

There is bell services who will bring your luggage to you. Unfortunately when we checked in they were super busy and luggage would take a couple hrs to arrive at our room. We wanted our luggage right away so we opted to "drag" our suitcases up the stairs to our rooms. Ugh....not a good thing.
