Popping the question at WDW and ideas

Thanks...yeah I kinda figured the slipper would only be CRT. The picture thing sounds cool. The only unfortunate thing is that I can't seem to find times to when she's at Mickey's Toon Town. Everything I read says it's occasional that she pops up. I know last time we were there she and the other princesses popped up randomly after wishes when we were getting our photos printed out. I'm guessing that would be something I'd talk to a CM about.

I've seen a slipper accompany an engagement without the dessert through Disney Floral. They have a whole "kit" that comes with champagne and the slipper... check out Disney floral website. Hope this helps...

Why don't you give the restaurants a call that you already have reservations to and see if they can do something for you or suggest what you need to do to make it great? Also, what you could do is make a basket up Cinderella style, have the ring in it and have it delivered to the room. Or- since she is going to be in some conferences you can get the room great- rose petals on the bed with a cinderella slipper in the middle and the ring in that. Have some champagne chilling somewhere and some chocolate covered strawberries.

Okay here's a pick of the create a fairy tale basket. You could put the ring in the slipper and have it on the bed when she comes in the room. Here's the description from the website: A shimmering glass slipper and a sparkling tiara arrive on a carnation pillow, surrounded by lace. As your princess smiles in amazement over your gift, you place the tiara on her head and create a fairy tale moment she'll never forget! Ask a Disney Florist Dream Maker about how we can create a magical moment for your special celebration!

Disneyflorist.com is the website and if you go under occasions>engagments there are like 5 packages. But, you could just do a romance one and work it in.

Hmm interesting, I'll take a look at it.

Cool idea, I'll take a look at it and prices and such it's a good idea. I'm just kinda torn on how to do it ya know? So many interesting and amazing ways to propose down there, just gotta find the right way.

The friend who is going with us suggested this. Apparently they made reservations on the first day we are there for Bibbity Bobbity Boutique. (Yes I know it for kids mostly but I guess they are letting them) So she suggest I show up when she's all done do it there and of course I thought of you know asking her to "be my princess" and or something like that. I'm up in the air on that one.

Oh I wish I saw this earlier in the week!!!!!

I would have suggested renting the Grand 1 to view "Wishes" perfect view of the fireworks, romance and the breathtaking castle! Just the 2 of you floating on Seven Seas Lagoon for a night to remember forever!

Please let us know whatever you do, it will be perfect!

Well I'm back now and here's the play by play.

I honestly kept it simple, probably cliche by what most people do, but so were in Tomorrow land before Wishes in MK. Our friend who was in on it, got me a good spot in the center island thing near the walt statute, in front of Cinderella's castle.

So as she was trying to hug me and hang onto me before the show, I pulled away pulled her with me and she immediately knew what was going on as she started freaking, but in a good way. With only a few snags, as I went to get down on my knee, being night I had to show my friend how to turn on the light to my camera AND this rather annoying guy who kept yelling to me "ask her, ask her already" I went through my thing saying I love her and so on and I want her to be my princess and asked her to marry me and of course she said yes!!

Pictures and video will be uploaded at some point soon but simple and to the point and she loved it.

Congratulations!!! For some reason I thought you were asking her in a few months! I'm glad you were able to come up with something you were excited about! Can't wait to see pics.

congrats!! Its the funny stuff in life that makes things perfect! So your adjusting the camera and the guy yelling was just part of the process...now you know you have to have a disney wedding right....:D good luck with everything

1900 Park Fare at the GF is where you are having dinner one night???
That has Cinderella, Prince Charming, Lady Tremaine, Anastasia and Drizella
Why don't you do it there?

My DF proposed on a carriage ride at POR. It was so romantic and private. During the ride he also gave me flowers that had cinderella's slipper and tiara on it. It looked like the slipper was on a pillow and it was really white carnations. He got it through Disney Floral. Here is a picture of it:
