I just had my second string lesson. What do you guys think? They were ten minutes late, but I only extended the lesson by like 3 minutes. Do you think I should've extended it 10 minutes?

I would not have extended it at all. If they are late it's their time. If you were late, then I would understand the extension. That's how it was when I took piano lessons in someones house.

Rebecca- No I would not have extended the lesson. I wish I lived close to you, I would like to brush up on my skills. It's so sad, I haven't touched my violin since HS. The poor thing needs a lot of work done!

Tink--My violin is pretty sad too. I figure after WDW and Christmas I'll save my lesson money to fix it up. My bow needs re-haired, my bridge needs straightened and I need cleaner to take all the rosin gunk off of it.

Hi all,

So i'm offically back to work, full duty. I start today at 6pm. My shoulder is still a little sore, but no where as pain full like it was. I would say it's like 85% better. As is well here. It's been cold, with the overnite temps in the 40's. So i booked the borgata hotel and casino for my birthday, some friends are meeting me up there. mAybe i'll find the lucky slot machine and hit big, but i know thats more of a dream. There is a very good chance that we will be going to Wdw the second week of august 08.

I am days away from becomming an uncle for the first time. My brother in laws wife is due any day now. I am really excited. we went to babies r us yesterday and i bought " my uncle loves me" bibs. Of course you do know who will introducing that kid to disneyworld, right? Al right i have to jump into the shower and get ready for work. I kinda miss the place. I know it sounds silly missing work, but i really love my job. I mean the city gives me the keys to a 200,000 rig and tells me it's ok to speed and run red lights. Al right gang, have a good day!

I have been so busy I have not had much time to be on the computer if it was not work related. Which is a problem I am more than happy to deal with.
I have not read all the way through, but I wanted to let you know Michelle, I will keep little Roman in my prayers!

I found out Terry might be home 2 months earlier than expected. Like the beginning - middle of January! You don't even know how happy that made me. Ryan does not know and wont' know until he sees his Dad. This is the biggest secret I have had to keep and it is killing me not to tell him.

Anyway, I hope veryone enjoys Halloween tomorrow!

So, I wanna know whats wrong with kids these days. Like you give them candy and they take the basket. Them little whippersnappers. No, what happened was I left the basket out front with a sign that said "Please take 1 or 2 candies" while I went across the street with DD. I watched 7 kids come. And the basket is almost empty. Fortunately it seems to be slowing down.

Anyone see the great discount coming out November 1st? With the free ticket upgrades and room discounts?? It's for Travel between January 1st-March something or other. I think the 12th. It has us seriously considering a quickie February trip and shortening the November trip by a couple days so we can go twice. Not sure though, it all depends on what we are going to have to do with Roman.

Our trick or treat night was last night. They change the days for trick or treat around here. Like Sunday would be a bad day given I live in the PA Bible Belt. But mainly it was changed to Tuesday because there is a big Halloween parade tonite and the parents complained their kids couldn't do both. I'm trying NOT to expose DD to scary witches and characters with blood coming out of their face (one kid last night) so we won't be doing the parade, but going to visit Pappy & Grammy.

AUGHHH!!! I am soo jealous!!! You will have a blast!! Have you interviewed yet?? WOW OH WOW! it was the best time of my college life!! I truly had a blast and stayed on 2 years! My BFF i still down there he never came back! He joined the management program and is having a blast! He is no managing talent at the MGM studios!! I love seeing him every time we go!!

Good morning all!!!! I think me being the first one to post in the morning is a new record for me anyhow. I'm never up this early. The Fire house called at 6 am, they needed someone to cover a 16 hour tour today from 10 am to 2 am, they asked me if i wanted the overtime. Since it is my day off and on overtime its at a rate of $53 dollars per hour, who could say no?? So i'm going in for a double. I'm really tired but will nap at the fire house. Have a great dayy everyone, hope all had a safe and fun night trick or treating. Ds got a ton of candy which daddy will help him eat.
