Morning everyone garage sales were a dud, got a few good things noting too exciting and then I had my OB appt and that was fun, it was a ghost town, so i was in and out fast. I have to go back again monday My blood pressure is too high So they are hoping it was just a today thing, but i doubt it, it was like this near the end with Gabriel too!

Ok - gotta talk about Flat Sally - you know the Flat Stanley book...Gracie's class is doing Flat Sally....shes supposed to send her all around the world...Can I send her to you guys??? PJ do you think you could take a pic with your rig & Sally??? I just need the pics emailed to me. I'm gonna color copy Sally & send her out...so no one has to send her back. When Casey did this we knew someone in Australia, and my cousins hubby was in the Navy & he was on a ship in the Indian Ocean....so she had REALLY cool ones. I'm trying to think of what/who to send gracei's Sally...of course we'll bring her to WDW with us. any thoughts????

I'd love to help if I could think of something cool. The only thing around here is a bunch of trees. I could probably swing a pic of Flat Sally at Valley Forge National Park in front of one of the huts or something, but Timmy may better at that in a timely matter. If anyone cares about Penn State I can do a pic of Sally with the Joe Paterno statue.

Yep, I will e-mail it to you. The hardest part was resizing them and lining them up so it should take you MAYBE an hour to do 4.
I WON! (of course! ) My rule is: if you are TOO sick to go to school you are TOO sick to do anythign but lay in bed. NO games, NO mives, NO toys, etc. Makes him stop and think if he is REALLY sick or not. Plus I told him I would rent him a video game if I didn't get a call from the nurse. He was totally fine and ended up having a GREAT evening!

Today's opening day for gracie's soccer....The Fireballs...(the uniform is red )

& this afternoon I'm going to the Northbrook ice rink...they are having a USFSA Sectional competition....& the WORLD champion Chicagoland Ice Theatre has been asked to perform

Then tonight...we're having a few friends over...for steak/shrimp, kids can swim & we're playing poker

Chris - I hope you have a GREAT weekend!!! I want to know about that book. My Mom and I are reading all kinds of things about that very topic. I really believe what you put out there, comes back to you. It's the laws of attraction. I will forward you some stuff I got on-line. Good information!

Pj-Did you ever get that LTT booked? I just decided to try for 1900 PF instead of Spoodles, but I can't get ANY availability.

Nope, But i have been calling them like 3x a day and keep trying. You know you got disney dinning troubles when you speak to the same cast member 3x times a day for 2 days in a row. I'm actually having a hard time getting alot of adr's, We have few, Tony's town square, holloywood and vine, Thats about it. If anything we will just do counter services a little more thats all, no biggie. You know what the problem was, stupid here missed the free dinning thing by 2 weeks.

BTW did i mention i'm at the 20 day mark!!!!!! Ds does not even know yet, i can't wait to spill the beans to him. We think we will have a treasure hunt the day before we leave and with each clue a disney hint for him, until he figures it out.

The hotel is called Quinta Real and it's gorgeous! I had my Quincenera here, so it has a lot of special memories for me!

That is the middle courtyard, the resort goes around it. The big building at the end of the photo is the lobby and main foyer.

This is one of their restaurants, it's more fancy b/c the other one is outside. Al Fresco style.

I am sitting and my feet have been up Drs. orders! It's been pretty boring I also had to do a 24 urine (i know TMI!!) and had more blood drawn. He's really worried since the baby is only 4lbs right now. So we're not taking any chances I will keep you all informed!

TIa, seeeee!! it does look too fancy for my boys! Roman isn't even born yet, and i'm comparing him to Gabriel! hahahha!!! The other hotel was a more fun one and right in the middle of town and wlking distance to everything, BUT it was not available during those nights. I'm going to wait to see what they tell my mom and then we will go from there!

Not TOO fancy, just hmmmm... not exactly kid friendly. But my gosh was it BEAUTIFUL!!! Are there usually kids there? I am sure everything will be fine. Are there any homes or condos you could rent for the week?

Morning everyone! Boy is it HOT! I made a breakfast casserole and now i'm paying with the HEAT that the oven made. It was soo long ago and it's still hot in here!!

Thanks everyone for the comments! Usually there are no kids there unless there is an even in the metting rooms. It's more of a business hotel (and we are travelling during the week) hahaha! Oh well, I'm sure we can handle it and i'm just getting nervous over nothing! Gabriel is taming down a lot as he gets older!

No rentals in the area as it's not that big of a tourist area, and since this is a HUGE party everyone and anyone is staying at all our families houses. (but we already know we DO NOT want to do this even if availability pops up b/c houses out there DO NOT have air conditioning! YIKES! and we are going in the middle of July!!).

wow mich, that hotel really dos look amazing...but i can hear ya...Grace is almost 8 and she'd still frighten me there!

ok so we're down to 9 days left. At least it's cooler here...maybe I can sneak away some shorts & shirts of Casey's this week. I've already got my clothes and GRacie's clothes pulled aside....it's the 13 yr old who would say "mom, have you seen my ambercrombie shorts?"

Tia - I'm gonna make a bunch of copies of Flat Sally....I will send you2 of them. The project's not going to be done until APril so we have lots of time. ...

& Sally at Penn State would be cool tool...I think I still have all the addys for most everyone...i'll have to check.

Today....dentist appointment at 10 (bleech), step class at noon ( I KNOW, I had to mapquest the gym to remember where the heck it was ), & my gosh I need to go to the grocery store! The girls are buying the gross school lunches today because I have nothing to make them!!!!!

The school lunches aren't so bad...you just have to not pay attention to the taste


So I'm not stressed about getting into 1900 PF anymore, since a CM informed me Cinderella is at MK everyday from 10-5. So we'll get to see her when we are there. I'm still going to try for 1900, but I'm not stressing.

Speaking of which...

PJ--Did you ever get that LTT ADR you were looking for? I'm trying to transfer to 1900PF, and if I do (longshot) you can have my LTT ressie (again, this is a longshot). Its for a party of 3, will that work?

Its so beautiful!!! I'd love to stay there too!

PJ-Saw about you calling 3x a day...that's what I've been doing with 1900PF. No luck. I saw some people talking about success with walkups the day of, so you might try that too. I wonder if Disney was getting slack because there were NO walkup appointments for day guests or something.

Morning everyone!!!!

PJ and Rebecca, Walk ups were almost ALWAYS available to us the last 2 times we went! As i've shared, we changed our entire ADR schedule as soon as we got there the last 2 years and booked each dinner THAT DAY! We got 1900 and that was DELISH! (actually our fave menu) Then we also were able to get Akershus Princess meal and some other goodies! Never once had a problem!!
