I can sort of sew Michelle, I'm not very good. My mom has been sewing for years. I've never taken any lessons though.

Tink you are soo lucky!!! I never lerned and my mom is reallly good!! But she lives too far to teach me on a regular basis! I'm addicted to these really cute Pillowcase dresses i keep seeing and they are soo easy to make everyone says!! THEN i want to make burp cloths for the baby and i'm just not that good!! I like easy projects! haha I was thinking about taking a class at the college, but i figured a sewing center might be cheaper and then offer some sort of discount on a machine afterwards or something! I'm hunting online for some!

BLAHHH!!! I am sooo tired!!! Sal came home with the half price tix for Magic Waters (if you arrive after 4pm) from work, so we went! I am pooped! The kids had a blast though! They were playing on all the little kids slides and in the water sprayers It was really cute!!

Hey everyone! I just wanted to pop on by and say bye for a couple of days. We are going up to Storyland in New Hampshire. Hope you all have a good weekend! We are coming back on Saturday night, but I have a birthday party on Sunday, so talk to you all after that!

Michelle- Sorry about the ebay bidders! People tell my mom that she should sell her jewlery on ebay, but I'm worried that things like that would happen! And knowing my mom, she'd go crazy and tell those people off!

hahaha! it's a total pain! Esp. when what i bought was needed to get a custom order out and what I sold has been requested by other people. grrr.....It is a pain to do EBAy, my store is sooo much easier, but EBAy gets more traffic to the store So i just stick with it!

Hi gang,
I bring terrible news. I am heartbroken!! That little kitten from the other night, btw we named her molly. Well she passed away today. I feel so bad, she got real sick this morning and the guys at the fire house took her to a local vet just a few blocks from the fire house. He said he had to keep her and admit her to the animal hospital for I.V. and blood work. He said she was very sick and it did'nt look good, they told him to do whatever it takes, all the guys at the fire house chipped in money for her vet bill.

He called the fire house around 7:30 to report she had passed away, he told us something that made me feel better. She died cuddled in a blanket in the arms of one of the vet techs. It made me feel better knowing she did not pass away in some cold iron cage alone in a strange place.Still it hurt. He said one of the blood test he did came back postive for F.I.P., which he said they catch from thier mother and it is almost always fatal. Still i felt so bad as did many of the guys. As one of the guys said she could have died in a cold sewer, alone, but instead she had a warm bed and plate of food for the little time she spent with us. Still i am heart broken. We are picking up her body up toomorrow and plan to bury little "molly" in the back yard of the fire house.

Morning everyone I plan on being the first person in line at the Post office today!! I'm so tired of waiting in line with Gabriel trying to escape! I swear that boy can't stand still without thinkinghe's Houdini!! As I type this, he is trying to fit himself into the Little Tikes Oven from the Kitchen set He reaaaallllly doesn't fit!! The Fridge, yes, the Oven??? Not So Much! But he's bound and determined

I am so sorry about Molly ! You're right that you did rescue her and bring her to a better place. Poor thing !

Good luck at the post office. Can you do that ship from home thing ? I know with paypal you can print the shipping off right from home. Our post office has an automatic teller as well. There has been times I have mailed a package at 11 at night.

I got a giggle out of Gabriel trying to climb into the stove !

NEXT....I am in DESPERATE need of sewing lessons!! I just inherited 2 reallly old Singer Vintage sewing machines and they are calling my name! Has anyone taken lessons anywhere???? I want to def. buy a machine that is up to date (i like the vintage ones just for show). BUT i don't want to waste the money and be totally confused!!!

I just do the basics...trial and error kind of thing. But I got a good sewing book that helps me with the harder stuff...I think its from Reader's Digest, but I'm sure there are a slew at the library..try that.
