Anyone checking in at pop on sept 28,at around 11:15 to noon????

Our flight lands at MCO on the 28th at 10ish, but our moms arrive around 11 and 11:45, so we'll be hanging in the lobby during that time to wait for them. If you see someone wearing a grey Incredible T-shirt on ME, you've likely found someone in our party. (Matching shirts on day one only for us)

We'll also be at POP from 9/29-10/8. My kids, DD8 and DS6 (almost 7), don't know yet, DH and I are trying to surprise them. It's killing me to keep it a secret, but I think it would be so great to be a kid and have your parents wake you up in the morning and instead of saying get ready for school, say get dressed because we're going to Disney World today!

That is so cool :cool1:

I would never be able to keep my mouth shut for that long!

Let us know how it goes. :goodvibes

a verrry late pic of the day!!!!

I will be on the look out for you,my flight lands at mco at 10:15,so maybe we will bump into each other at mco or in the lobby at pop.I am not using magical express, but if you happen to see someone with a FDNY t-shirt on at mco or in the pop check in area, most likely that will be me.

Alright, I can't find the post in this thread, but *someone* posted the suggesting of buying those D-shaped clips that look like climbing hooks... and using them to hook bags to the backpack...

THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!

Me, me, me! ! ! :yay:

YAY! Cool find!

HOLY COW! 11 days!!!! :woohoo:

UGH!!! I have a possible dilemma. DH is worried he might not be able to make the trip!!!! :sad2: He has been out of work for 4 days with severe gout. He has never had an attack like this and he is still barely able to walk. He is in excrutiating pain. He is extremely concerned that his boss will rescind his vacation request due to his missing most of last week and today!!! :guilty: He asked me what I would do if he could not go. I told him I was not sure. BUT I know in my heart that it would disappoint my children tremendously if I cancelled. I feel I would have to get "extremely" motivated and brave to go solo with my 4 and 6 year old. DH would be bummed, but I think he would understand. What would you all do??????

I think it stinks his boss would / could do that. Thats crap.

But if it came down to going solo - or not going at all - I'd go solo. My mom was a single mom, and she never hesitated taking me anywhere growing up. We went on vacations, and weekend'ers all the time. You can do it!

Good luck - hopefully Mr Boss Man wont be a you-know-what....

And the fact that I only have 9 more days at work - including this one - sounds FABULOUS too!!!!!!

Meet you here in two days for the single digit dance!!!! =)

PLEASE don't cancel. Think of those little faces  you can do it!!! if you have to, go for the solo trip. It will be something you will always remember :teeth: we'll all be there to help you out :teeth:

:wave2: morning POPpers! how goes it? This excitement is making me boil over!!!

BUT does anyone feel like this:

SUPER excited to GET TO WDW, but at the same time, it feels like the trip really is not going to happen??? i don't know why, but i almost find it hard to believe that we are going!

i'm wondering if it's the fact that we don't have plane tix, so i feel like i forgot something, BUT we're driving and not flying....wierd i know!!

I'm thinking of possibly upgrading to preferred, DH would like to, but it depends on the room we would get. We are thinking of at check in, first asking what room we would get IF we switched to preferred and then decide from there.

I posted this on another thread, but thought i would share it here.

I KNOW we all have our ADRs already, but there is a FABULOUS book by Birnbuams that is the WDW dining Guide!! it has lists and info and price ranges on all rhe TS restaurants and CS restaurants and lounges in WDW! we love it! We bought it last year for our trip, but the 2006 version is available now :)

I found a $5 Halloween T-shirt at Tar-jay that I bought for MNSSHP. Can't find a pic online, sooooo it's white with a black "BOO!" in a gothic-type font. Real simple. So now I will at least look festive, even tho I won't be in character. :teeth:

OK, I'm excited now! My Dreams Unlimited agent released my final itinerary to me...that means it's less than three weeks!

My big event is over, it was a huge success, and, unfortunately, they want me to do it again next year! I told them I won't even decide about that until I come back from my vacation.

Yellowfish78: Thanks for posting the Mickey Head. I'm posting mine here.

G&J's Mom: My DH suffers from gout, too. If you haven't already tried it, have him drink lots of cranberry juice. That helps flush out the system and will relieve the pain a bit. If I were you, I'd take the trip solo if I had to (although DH should try to convince the boss that he really needs to get away to make sure he gets enough rest to cure his gout ;) ).

Whenever we go somewhere DH always packs the night before. It drives me crazy !!!
I like the Tide Stain stick. I also like the Shout wipes as well !!

It drives me nuts, too! This past summer he had to go to Iceland for a month. We went out to dinner the night before to celebrate all the July birthdays he would be missing (mine, his, and DD). After we got home, he still had to pack!!!
