DD's b-day party was today. First we painted these flower picture frame wooden things, then we ate pizza, then played picture bingo, then pinata (the pull string kind...it was recycled from a party on Tuesday), cake and presents. I felt a little slighted, one of DD's teachers was there and she wanted to sit with her to open presents, not me.

Yep, jenn's the little one ! I'm the rounder one!

oh my ! I can see why you feel slighted! I could say, be grateful DD loves her teacher so much....but it still feels like crap when our kids prefer someone else. ! Hope she had a great party though!

Hi everyone! we're home!! we hit OakBrook and then a quick stop at IKEA to get some stuff for the kids rooms!! it was fun meeting you all, and i have to catch up still, but i MUST say i hate that it was one loooong table! i felt like i didn't get to talk to anyone! next time it must be some place that has large round tables!! OR we could do a food court somewhere, and that way we stay as long as want and not feel rushed by the check AND we can move tables around as we wish

We got the kids some super cute Melissa & Doug stuff:

And Ice Cream Sundae puzzle/Play set

Cake Puzzle/Play Set

Pizza Puzzle/Play Set

Some Paint Cups

And 2 art smocks!

I found a new store i love it's just soo sweet! thanks for the reccomendation! i had never heard of it before!!

Alrighty-o Peeps, i gotta help DH in the play room! we're gutting the closet today and taking off the doors and putting in a TV/VCR/DVD thing in there, so it's out of the way and then we will make a little sitting area! it's the last thing i wanna do today, but when DH gets new stuff he has fun!!

OMG I KNOW!! I cannot believe you did not already know about Land of Nod. Love them. I prefer them over pottery barn kids. Less pretentious. Very childhood. I went in for the art easel but they did not have any there so I am going to order it online tonight. I bought a few things for nephew for Easter. We have so much stuff from there. They have great round floor cushions for playrooms. Jul has a purple one. Check out their website.

Then I went in Hanna Andersson and they did not have what I wanted either so I need to order that too. Have you shopped there. Absolutely irresistible hanna playdresses with capris for little girls. Jul has lived in them for years. And the dresses last forever.

I obviously could go on and on and on.....
