Pretty frustrating Monday for us. They screwed up (pardon the language) Terry's pay for the second month in a row. We are short by like $3000. Yeah it sucks. I am hoping the fix it soon so we can get his plane ticket to come home for Thanksgiving. Keep your fingers crossed for us please!

No I have been to California a couple of times. Just never with a teenager. It was fun to see it through her eyes. This is only the second time she had been on a plane in her entire life. My mother in law doesn't fly and they don't really believe in vacations so this was a HUGE deal for her. I wanted it to be very special.

Also, can someone one PLEASE fill me in on what is going on with this whole "Secret Project" I haven't logged on in a few days and I obviosuly missed something big. Pretty please someone give me the whole story ?! Thanks !!

I went to the DS yesterday to find a couple of cute little things for when DD trick or treats at our door. No halloween stuff but ALL Christmas stuff! Go check it out!

Hi all -
I am back from California. What a wild place ! Those people must have no life at all - the traffic is terrible. Even at 11 at night they have bumper to bumper traffic. We had a good time. Tessa really liked the college Whittier and it looks like they may be front runners for her choice but she still has the rest of the year to decide. We were able to go to Disneyland for 3 days !! I was so excited for myself. We were only 5 minutes away from the parks. They were really busy this weekend though for the Halloween celebration. We got back early this morning. Just wanted to check in and tell everone Hi !!

Glad you are back, I missed you!

The "Secret Project" is very odd. On the CB there are "celebs" who are working on a secret project. Ty Pennington and Tim Gunn. It is interesting to read about but I don't see why in the world an actual celeb would post on the DIS. Apparently one of the moderators said at least one of them is the real deal. There are a ton of threads about this so good luck weeding through all of the crap. But IF it is a contest and they needs groups does anyone here want to form a group and participate? I bet we can take em!

Hi all! I haven't gone far and am reading the disboards here and there every day. I am planning to go back to WDW in January and am anxious to see the AP codes coming out tomorrow.

Smash up ice. Put some cubes in a plastic bag and take a meat pounder thingy (yes technical term) and then munch on the ice chips! No cals, no carbs and cheap cheap cheap!

Honestly - thats a GREAT idea I hadnt thought of. Thank you!!!!

I know this is gonna sound weird - but my mouth is always so "sweet" now, it just seems super sweet... that I didnt wanna suck on candy all day long.... I love this ice chip idea!!!

How was everyone's Halloween? We had a lot of fun. Danny was that spiked hair thing, and Joey last minute wanted to be Santa. Soooo - we gathered up a red sweatsuit, stuffed him with a pillow, popped the lenses out of sunglasses, and ran to walgreens for a santa hat and beard...but we could find one!!!!

Sooooo - we got some Asian mask thing, with long white hair, and a long white beard. Worked perfect!

We even made a CD of Haunted Mansion, Tower of Terror, and Michael Jackson's - Thriller.... that we had the garage opened a crack and stuck a speaker out the crack and it played over and over and over!

So fun! I love Halloween!

Just saying Hi briefly. Steve's doing better, sortof. We went to the doctor yesterday, and she said his lungs sounded better. He's not to work this week, but he can go to class, so at least he should still be able to graduate (thanks goodness!).

I don't know if all the celebs are real (but it's all in good fun, so why not?!), but one of the mods has said that at least one person who is posting is real (I think it's The Tag Fairy). I just can't keep up with it all, but I do know that when the secret is let out, we'll all know about it (they said it would be shouted from the rooftops, or something like that). Lots of posting...I can't keep up! But if we need a team, I'm all in for the POPpers!

Hello everyone! It seems like everyone is so busy (not posting). We had a great halloween. My DD 6 was Jasmine. The class party was crazy of course. It was sooo cold for trick or treating but DD & DH went anyway. She got special treats when she trick or treated at home (Lilo beanie, my little pony, princess wand with candy in it, witch pez dispenser, pumpkin gum dispenser, set of princess rings). Overboard? Oh, well!

DD was Princess Toadstool from Super Mario Bros last night. I spent like a week sewing it, and I'm not an avid sewer. (I can sew pillows). I'll post pics when I have them.
