Well, getting out of dodge for a week is great. (today was a really sad day for me) Spending time with my kiddo, and believe it or not I am SO looking forward to meeting fellow POPpers!!!

awwww thanks. It was the 1 year anniversary of my Dad's death. And I lost a good friend and my chiropractor of 12 years in a motorcycle accident late Sunday evening. (i found out about it today)
Tomorrow will be better. It is supposed to be a beautiful sunny day and my son and I are one day closer to WDW! Gotta love that right?

I will be picking up myself a styrofoam cooler instead of renting a fridge this yr and then i will just leave it in the room and hope mousekeeping can do something with it or i may post on the resorts board if anyone wants it the day i check out!

Especially if you plan to use it to keep cans of soda cold (or maybe pick up two coolers?), get some salt. Water + ice + salt (sorry, don't know how much salt) cools a can of, well, beer but it should work on all cans - in about seven minutes.

Today i went and got our post card stamps from teh post office!! (.24 cents each)
The post office has some GREAt disney Tote bags for 20$! soo cute though!

They also have some AWESOME Mickey Stamps and Beauty and the Beast and the like! so neat-o!

Anyways, my tip:

I bought a pack of labels awhile ago to print my return address labels and i had some left overs so i wrote up all the addresess to the people we want to send out Postcards to!! that way we only have to peel and stick!

Do you ever buy traveler's checks? My Mom said she thought this would be better than carrying a bunch of cash around. I have never used them before. But I should go to my bank and look into them. With free dining, I am having a hard time figuring out how much m oney to actually bring!

we've done travellers checks before, but this year we put loads of money on the Disney gift card and then we bought Disney Dollars for the places that don't take the card and we will take some cash and then just our bank card with the VISA logo on it! that should cover us!
