Yep, that's what happened. Actually I WAS supposed to be going to Disney world in 2 weeks, but for some reason I thought I wouldn't enjoy it being pregnant. I'm insane.

Ill tell you what I did forget. I forgot to go to Philharmagic....and Pirates.....and Big Thunder...... and Splash. (did I mention how crowded it was?? ) Im going to need to just come with you.

Makeup - FOR REAL CHRIS - ASAP check out www.beautycrunch.com - the stuff doesnt last long. That and get www.everydayminerals.com - heck, from their, you could get their free sample (only pay $3.95 shipping) and have enough for your trip.

Hair - get a good leave in conditioner (I love Sebastian Potion 9) and a blow dryer like this:

They have them at Target and Sally's. Theyre cheap and worth every single dime. You'll be ridiculously impressed with them, too.

Tan - go get spray tanned! LATan is my favorite.

50 pounds - STOP! Get some spanx and be on your way!

It;s just a dryer - but it kinda OOMPHS it while it drys. It's awesome.

Spanxs are like - basically a new generation girdle.

Three struck by hit and run auto in Flatlands; volunteers come to their rescue

Members of the Flatlands Volunteer Ambulance treat the child who was seriously injured in the incident.

The child is wheeled on the stretcher to the awaiting Flatlands Volunteer Ambulance.

BROOKLYN, NY - On February 8, 2009 at approximately 11:00 p.m. the emergency telephone line rang at the Flatlands Volunteer Ambulance. The calling party indicated several people that were struck by an auto on Utica Avenue just off Avenue H in the Flatlands section of the boro.

Flatlands unit 5 was dispatched via two-way radio to the incident location. Upon their arrival the Flatlands crew observed two victims down in the middle of Utica Avenue. One was an adult and the other was a smaller child.

Both victims appeared to have been hit pretty hard. The FDNY arrived at the scene shortly after the Flatlands VAC crew arrived and tended to the adult victim while the members of the Flatlands VAC tended to the child.

Both victims were eventually collared and long boarded and packaged for their trip to the Kings County Hospital Trauma Center.

At last check the child was in critical but stable condition and the female adult was in stable condition. A third victim was struck and just brushed up against the car.

The driver who hit these people fled the scene.

So I went to Ulta today....and spent a fortune....got a lot of fun stuff though...lots of what folks recommened on the make up thread...found the matrix root lifter...we'll see how that does. I'll be gone while you're at the beauty show...but yea, I've been using Nioxcin formula 4....Ulta doesn't carry a lot of it....so if there's a deal on big bottles, or any styling agent...I'll take it....maybe I'll even meet ya for lunch after I come back...are you SURE there's not anything you forgot??

hahahah Glad it's not just me! Cat is giving me makeup & hair lessons over the internet! I'm sooo clueless...But I did have fun at Ulta the other day....

Seriously, I just decided I needed to stop "waiting" to take care of myself - kwim? I'm always waiting....till I lose weight, till we have more money.,,till the kids have everything they need.....till hell freezes over....whatever...I'm just tired of always being 900th on my list of people & things to take care of. I didn't used to be like that. I'm not sure if it's just getting caught up in everyday life, or if it's the combination of raising 2 kids, still mourning the one that died, dealing with Lupus, or Mike really poopooing my spending when it's for myself...Regardless...it stops NOW. I told Mike, if he can golf, fish, buy himself clothes & whatever....I can go to Disney, scrap & buy myself stuff too...& you know what he said ? " well, that's the Chris I married, where've ya been? "... So I'm serioulsy going to make an effort to take care of my own wants/needs better...not saying I can go bust the bank...but within reason.

hmm, didn't realize I stepped up on my soapbox there.

I wish it wasn't pouring...Casey & I need to go shopping for some shorts & spring stuff for her. But the mall she likes is outdoors!blah...maybe we'll wait till next weekend.
