Happy Weekend everyone!!!
This was the week of spending. We bought a new mattress. Got a smoking deal though. Originally $1500 and we got it for $750! OH YEAH! I love a good deal. Then eysterday we went to Sprint to review our plan and we ended up buying 2 new phones. Terry and I both got the new Instinct! I am soooo loving this phone. The best part is I now have an MP3 player, GPS, camera, video recorder, and phone all in one! I can also watch TV and movies, surf the net, shop, check my e-mail and everything right from my phone! OH YEAH!!!! So all in all life is pretty darn good.
So Cat & Colleen - when do you leave?? We aren't out of here until the 24th. I think you all are gone before we get there!

We were planning on going in December but the goodness that is free dining was too good to pass up. Then we asked if one of Ryan's friends could come with us and his mom said yes, so we decided to keep the reservation. Honesly, as lame as this sounds, I was REALLY bummed that Lori could not go and so we thought maybe we could try for a trip in December. But in the end we just kept our dates. Plus Terry wants to do HHN REALLY BAD so here we are. I can be a bit flaky at times. So we will be there the 24th - 4th. And was so not in planning mode at all. ANd now I am stressed out that I let too much time pass. I spent several hours ysterday catching up. It is stressful tkaing a first timer because I want to make sure he has as much fun as possible.

Sorry Cat! I spent almost all of yesterday recovering from my first high school football game!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We were there from 5 till 11pm! Casey cheered (Poms) during the JV game at 5:30, and then played with band for the Varsity game! ok...seeing teenagers making out in the bleachers REALLY creeped me out!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! EEKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK


I'm glad you're still going Tia.....we haven't been to US since Casey was 4......& don't see it happening anytime real soon...but their Halloween gig sounds cool....

Im jealous - we asked if one of Danny's friends could come, but he couldnt. We're kinda hoping we can talk his Mom into it for next year, but she JUST had a new baby. I actually thought she'd like the break.

And I understand being bummed about Lori. I'd feel the same way. Kinda the way I feel that you DIDNT SWTICH YOUR DATES SINCE LORI WASNT GOING ANYWAYS AND BE THERE WHEN I AM...Kinda like that.

I was just kidding. I was hoping I didnt look too serious, and everyone think "Geez, she's a freak!" I thought the oversized growable sweat pants would work.

UGH! So hard..... I'd probably do either #1 or #4. Maybe even #3 - the thought of not having to switch resorts is NICE, but the only reason I'd switch would be to switch to AKL (or CR, or GF, or POLY - you know what I mean)

Have you been to CBR? I like it - a lot! It's a nice resort, and of the mod's, the room's are the largest. You'll really like it.

I'm a smidge POP'ped out. I think when we book for next year, we're either doing a MOD, or a Deluxe for a shorter time. I know you just sleep in the room, but like I said.... POP'ped out. And in comparison to the other resorts....POP is jam-freaking-packed. The other places arent like that....or they at least dont FEEL like it.

I'm leaning a LOT towards POFQ or CBR next year. That's if Jimmy goes. If he decides not to.... Lora (my g.f) and I have talked about splitting a room at CR.

I dunno....either way. No more POP (until I get there, right??? And rebook it. )

I'm not POP'ed out, so I'd say POP. I was not impressed with CBR. Nothing wrong with it, but I saw no benefit of it over POP. And it cost more. Now POLY had a huge benefit, but it was 4x as much.

Cat - Sorry about not switching dates. Between HHN and the F&W Fest later Sept won. :-( It would be really great to stay up all night and be harassed by drunk people though! Oh and talk about people and laugh at them behind their backs because you know that is how we spent all our time. lol.
Chris - I can be of no help to you! We have only Popped and one night off site. Do whatever you think will make yoy happiest! Easy for the person who can't make a decision to say right?
Ok, time to see if this works. If not I am going to be ticked!

See, I think Casey would be fine not staying at POP, I think Grace would miss it though...she's only 9 & loves it....

so for today, my choice is POP & 3 nights at AKL......we'll see if I change my mind by midweek...if not I'll have Donna book it for me........I'm just freaked by the whole layout of CBR......it just seems SOOOO big to me..I know POP is big, but....it's also so familiar it doesn't seem big....

so what do youthink PJ is doing today????? Hope they're having a great trip!

Casey's band is going to Cocoa Beach for a day....& the band director said Grace & I could come too.....uhh no thanks we'll just stay at Disney - hahahah Casey's mad..she doesn't want to go either! hahahahahahah

I'm hoping to get caught up on house stuff today..the first week of school always throws me for a loop de do.....

I did a ChaCha weather search for Florida, and got "tornado watch" and "tropical storm warning." I immediately thought "Oh No, PJ!!!" I searched for Orlando afterwards and the weather is great.

Oh, I know.... I think next year we *might* book later in the month to do the F&WF - however Jimmy said last night, he preferred earlier in the month, because it's less crowded at EPCOT....which is true. So, I dunno....

Yeah - with the bulk of us not going to be there the entire time, it's going to be difficult to find someone to laugh at. I'm really hoping I can find someone to do so to, though. I mean... it's not a Disney trip unless I'm able to point and laugh - I think we'd all agree to that.

PJ is fiiiine! I was there during Hurricane Jeannie - on property. If you gotta be anywhere during a hurricane, its the best place to be. They had.... you know those stations with DVC info, and 'today at the parks' and all those useless channels? They had them all running pretty new movies (at the time) and some oldies but goodies....Toy Story 1 & 2 back to back... things like that. It wasnt bad, at all.

And when the parks opened up the next day - it was like a graveyard. It was fantastic.

He's got to be having a blast!!!!!!!

Yeah! I am glad it worked. It was very cool seeing a mini DIS on my phone. Don't feel bad Chris, my hubby is just now learning the fine art of texting. It used to drive him insane but now that we have that big ol screen and it is exactly like a keyboard he is adjusting nicely! Yes... I know what you mean about the mattress deal. We have needed one for awhile too ad finallyit got to the point that no matter how many toppers and fetherbeds we put on it, it just provided ZERO support. So we bit the bullet, pulled money out of savings and called it a day.
Cat - I am not even sure if we will book bounceback. Well... I say that NOW. I might book it and then wait and see how I feel. I REALLY want to go during December and part of me wants to wait until Harry Potter opens up at Universal. It goes back to seeing other parts of the world and the US.
Sucks being a Disney feak sometimes...

Thanks Michelle! Doesn't $10 a day sound like a lot to you? Especially since MOST people staying at WDW are not just there for an overnight business trip. I have been seeing more and more devices that plug into your USB port on your laptop and you can get Wi-Fi anywhere. Similar to a cell phone I guess. I need to price them out to see if it would be worth it or not. I just do not think my husband will be cool with an additional $10 a day for me to blog!

It does to me - I think it's absurd. ESPECIALLY for those whom stay at Deluxe or even Mod's!!!

The prices we pay and they cant give you internet? Are you joking? Red Roof Inn's have internet for crien out loud - for free!!!

I dont pay for it... I dont use it.

It did seem high, until my dad came with us and he travels a lot for work and says that's average if on the low side. It was even 12.00 a day in MEXICO!? Can you believe that? A family of 5 (us) at dinner for 15.00 including beer and internet was that expensive!! haha!!

I'm home and depressed. Good news only 355 days to my next trip, i booked the bounce back thing. Omg was it hot and crowded, the last 3 days were not that bad in terms of the heat and crowds. It seemed as if everyone took off the day before labor day. Still i'll take wdw hot and crowded anytime over not being there at all. I'm beat. Going to bed.

We rode TSM on 3 seperate times, our new favorite ride. I watched it on you tube before we left, the video does not do the ride any justice. I won't spoil it for you guys, but this is one ride you must go on. Fast passes sell out early like 11am early, so get there early and get fast passes. My son loved TSm and test track the most.The resort was great and i would not hesitate to sta there again. As for the whole dream thing, we did not win anything but thats fine with us. We did see a family win the castle stay on aug 31 and then later on we ended up sitting right next to them at the castle's royal table.

Lets see my favorite dinner was at the garden grill, it was the first time my new niece(10 months) got to really interact with mickey and his gang, she loved seeing them. She would began to smile and scream when they came to our table. We did not see a single or double love bug at all.
