Are different buckets available at different parks or are the all the same?

Is Popcorn available at Arts Of Animation food court?

As far as I know, popcorn (not pre-bagged, but regular popcorn) is not available at any of the resorts. It would be nice if it was though...especially with the refillable bucket.

Has anyone ever done 2 refills in the same transaction using 1 bucket? We like to snack on popcorn at night at the resort, so I was thinking about stopping to refill on the way out of the park and filling a big ziploc with one refill, then getting the bucket filled again. I'd expect to pay twice, but just curious if they would do this.

Never done it, but I can't imagine why they'd care. Once you spend the $1.50 to get refill #1, you could immediately dump that refill in the trash if you wanted to and then go pay for another one. No difference to them.

We did this a few times, especially when we left Epcot at night to walk back to Beach Club. One of my DD's wanted Buffalo Blue Cheese flavour and the other wanted the Sour Cream flavour, so we would buy one and pour it into a ziploc bag, then get a refill (for another $1.50) of the other flavour. Personally, I liked the two flavours mixed together. We would ziploc bag any popcorn we didn't finish at the end of each day and ended up eating leftovers on the plane ride home.

Do I understand , from this thread, that I can bring my popcorn bucket from Christmas when I go in April and they will refill it? It seems signage says otherwise but CM's are willing. Is this correct? Has anyone done this recently? Has anyone been told it was not allowed. I mean, our bucket is Christmas themed. We leave in 2 1/2 weeks. Wondering if I should pack the bucket.

The difference @MaryLovesPoohBear is that on the cruise I was told by numerous crew members that it is completely acceptable to bring the popcorn buckets purchased on the ship to the parks and vice versa and I didn't see any signage to the contrary. I'm going to take ours to the parks in September and see what happens.

Please come back and start a new thread when you do. We have a land and sea planned for October and I have one teenager that can eat his weight in popcorn. This would be a GREAT thing for him.

I bought one in September. Each park had a different design for the refillable bucket. At that time, there were also other non-refillable buckets available, that were a little larger than the refillable one. Originally they were supposed to change up the designs periodically, and they would make sure you had a current design before refilling.

A one gallon ziplock bag will hold 2 refills. We filled a bag and also the bucket before flying home last weekend

Yes, although I will say, when we went in Aug., the bucket I got at DS was a regular bucket (after asking for a refillable) and I questioned them about being able to refill it, and they said they were refillable and I refilled it all week with no issues.

I just read this whole thread & now I'm hungry for WDW popcorn!!! I never buy the bucket because I hate carrying around things in the park.... I usually buy the popcorn to munch on the way out to the bus\boat stops.

I'll have to reconsider the bucket though - it may be worth it.

We would always just buy the bag. But we have already said that we are getting a bucket next trip.

From our experience last week, all of the popcorn carts selling the buckets would refill it, including Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach. We didn't see any carts in World Showcase, except near Canada, which was fine because there are so many other great treats there.
I think there were different buckets sold in each park, but it didn't seem to matter when you refilled it. Sorry I don't have a picture of ours, but it had some generic Magic Kingdom picture on it as I recall.

The only place we saw with flavored popcorn was at Epcot, outside of Figment. It closed early, maybe 7? I recommend a mix of sour cream and buffalo bleu cheese!

Our bucket cracked on our last ride, on our last night, when we jammed it into the pocket to put your stuff in on Seven Dwarves. It was beloved! For a family with 3 teenagers, it was a great "filler" snack!
