Popcorn refills?

Hi everyone , I believe this is my first post! I had a quick and random question and I apologize if this is already on the boards, I couldn't find it.

Can you refill the souvenir popcorn holders? I have quite a few of the plastic ones with the lids on them. If you can, would you pay the souvenir price again or the regular price?

This is kind of a silly question, but I've been wondering it for a while. Thanks in advance!

As far as I know, the popcorn buckets are not refillable.

Sometimes you'll see someone carrying a popcorn bucket later in the day. They'll purchase a regular box of popcorn and pour it into their souvie bucket so I'm guessing this is how the popcorn vendors handle refills.

A friend of mine pops microwave popcorn in her hotel room and then puts it in the buckets for her kids, so that's an option too. I've never tried it, but she swears by it. She says the packets are easy to pack, and then each kid has their own bucket and doesn't bug her for snacks all day.

They used to do refills. I saved a popcorn bucket for years and was disappointed the last time I took it back and said they don't refill them any more.
