if you buy a popcorn bucket on your first day at a certain park (say MK) are the $2 refills good for all parks and is it for length of stay?

I'm pretty sure you can bring your bucket back on future trips and get the same $2 refill.

Can? yes. Supposed to? no :D
Really? We've brought buckets from previous trips into the parks, and we only ever heard compliments from CMs as they gladly filled the buckets. Seems less like "can" and more "encouraged." :confused3

you may misunderstand my question, I don't mean from a previous trip...I mean on a 6 day trip if I buy my popcorn bucket at MK and the next day I visit HS can I bring that same bucket with me to HS and get $2 refills

You absolutely can. I was saying you can save it for your next trip, too, but maybe I'm wrong on that. I'll have to look into it.

I was referring to the person who used them from previous trips. I should have quoted

I imagine that's similar to the refillable mugs... technically you can bring old ones back but it's sneaky and you aren't really supposed to I think?

Yeah, I could be totally off base on that. I'd be willing to take the "L" on that one if it means doing the right thing.

Actually you can’t do that with old refillable mugs anymore. Disney closed that loophole by microchipping the mugs.

I always assumed popcorn buckets were “length of stay” not for indeterminate future visits. Still one of the few bargains you can get at Disney, though!

oh did they? how does that work? do you have to scan the mug or something before filling? I haven't been in 10 years so I'm really out of the loop

"Popcorn Bucket Refill valid for length of stay $2.25"

I know we paid $2.25 at some spots so I don't think every place is the same price.

The buckets are refillable everywhere that offers the refill, regardless of where you bought it. I think the only place I didn't refill ours was at Animal Kingdom. Some of the places are more expensive than others - The same bucket I bought for $15 was $13 at the Canada pavilion in Epcot - and I know for sure some refills were $2.25, while others may have been $2. Either way, it was a great deal and we got several refills (mostly of the maple popcorn in Canada because YUM)

The popcorn bucket was a good deal for us. We refilled it many times and especially in the Canada pavilion in Epcot.
