So what creative things do you use your popcorn buckets for after you get home from Disney? Right now my snowman mickey popcorn bucket is empty but when it snowed I used the top as my hat on my snowman. :goodvibes

Every bit of spare change I get my hands on, gets put into my Mickey Snowman for our upcoming trip.

This September I'm determined to hunt down the Mickey Ghost! :goodvibes

Ohh I hadn't even thought about using it for our change. Might have to do that for the disney fund.

I have cookie cutters in one, DD's pens in another, her My Little Pony clothes and school snacks (like granola bars) in another.

Is it possible to see a pic of the Xmas mickey bucket? :) I have the Halloween one with Mickey as a ghost.

We have several, 1 is our spare change bucket we use it to fund our gas on trips throughout the year. This April it will cost about $400 in gas to go to WDW so that will be covered. 2 We use to fill with water in our dog bowls 3 My dd3 usese it to hold Mr potatoe head parts the others are aound the house and under the sink in the kitchen!

We use ours to put popcorn in when we make and then we can think of Disney -- not very original but certainly fun!

Ours is in our "Disney box" ready to go for out next trip. I'll take a few bags to pop and take with us every day so that we don't have to pay park prices for it again. ;)

We use ours for popcorn too! We also have one for our spare change! Can't wait to get more on our June trip too!!popcorn::popcorn::popcorn::

We used ours for snow fort building. The girls packed the snow and unmolded them one by one. For summer it will be in the sandbox.

Forgive me for asking the question, haven't been to WDW in 21 years, but what are popcorn buckets exactly? Are they something that you get with, or pay extra for, with porpcorn at the parks or do you buy them at the gift shops?

The buckets are the containers for the larger size popcorn option at the carts. You can get a single scoop $2.50(? I don't get a single scoop ever, can you tell?) or the bucket which I think is about $5.

Thanks Jamie, think I may need to get one this summer. Do all the parks offer the same bucket or do all the parks offer different designs?

No problem :) I want to say they're all the same design but I'll let someone else answer that officially.

I love this idea. I didn't think of I think I may take mine to all Disney movies we see in the theater to share popcorn!

What a great topic! I cringe everytime I see those oversized cups taking up valuable real estate in our cupboards knowing they haven't moved since they were put there. Thanks for the ideas-I can't guarantee I'll get around to doing anything with them but it gives me hope.
