Popcorn buckets Q? and NEW Cinderella bucket!

I suspect if things like that continue to happen (assuming it's true), they'll start enforcing a limit on how many premium buckets guests can buy in a single transaction (e.g., 5). It won't stop re-sale, but it'll make it slightly more time consuming.

I hope the popcorn buckets have been produced en masse and available for years to come. Just to spite the person in the photo. :p

Disney encourages this by making too many things "limited editions."

Dang I sure hope they still have them when my fairy godmother go's next month and is still able to pick me one up *sprinkles pixie dust all around*

I would love the Cinderella popcorn bucket and the Mickey ballon bucket.:worship: We are going this summer, so I will make it my business to get them if they are available.

I'm amazed they allowed that!

Why wouldn't they?

There are MANY Disney fans who live all over who cannot make it to the park for various reasons and would like to have one of these items. This guy gives them an opportunity to do so, and he is paid for his time and effort. You may not agree, but you don't have to. There is absolutely nothing wrong with what he is doing.

If Disney was concerned about "personal shoppers," they would lower the amount of items that can be purchased per day from 25 to something like 2 or 5. At the end of the day, it is a business transaction between him and Disney, and Disney knows people are doing this, which is why a limit exists in the first place.

Then the underprivileged may order on line, or go without, like many people.
These sellers don't care about helping anyone out but their bank account. Otherwise, merchandise would not be grossly marked up or sold at auction with a ridiculously priced reserve.

The underprivileged? They can go without? That is kind of an elitest statement, don't you think?

Honestly, I have seen most of these buckets being started at the same price they sell for in the parks when on eBay and then the bidding drives them up. The sellers aren't forcing anyone to buy them, the bidders are doing that themselves. Some of them have high reserves, but people still buy them. And obviously they are more than willing to do so. If Disney had a problem with this, they could resolve it very easily by selling these items online, which they do not.

As I said, some people cannot make it to the parks, yet would like to have some of these things. It brings them joy, and these personal shoppers in some small way facilitate that. Who are you to determine their sole motives and state what they do or do not care about? I was not aware that everyone had to enjoy Disney in the same manner.

Thank you for your opinion. And that is all that it is. Your opinion is different from mine.
I am about as far as one could be from being "elitist" lol
I was being sarcastic and facetious when I posted that particular wording, with the exception of going without, because that is reality. If one cannot afford, or obtain x then you do without x.
Too many people that sell on line are greedy. Pure and simple.

Edited to add comment.

They haven't come to DL or DCA yet. I asked around in both parks. Every popcorn vendor I talked to said, "no, we don't sell them here." They also all acted as though they've never heard of them before.

ETA: 3/26-27 are the dates I asked
