Wll this resort ever open????or have they listed another opening date???

In an interview the other day WDW President, Al Weiss said that the Pop Century would open sometime in 2003. He did not get more specific than that. As I understand it phase one will open first with phase two to follow. Phase one is 1950s thru 1990s, phase two is 1900s thru 1940s there will be two separate lobbies and check-ins for each phase. Think All Star Sports and All Star Music. Each will also have the same number of buildings, however Pop will have more rooms as each of its' building will be four stories were as All Stars are three stories. I know how crowded the All Stars can get, can you imagine how crowded Pop will get with the added story of rooms! I would still like to check it out and stay there on my next trip maybe. I'll try to go in the off season.
