A group of friends and I are heading to WDW over spring break. If we don't spend every day at the parks, is there anything fun or exciting we can do at our resort (we're staying at POP) or somewhere close to our resort?

We are also going for spring break, and we're staying @ Fort wilderness. If you're staying @ the POP Century, you can take one of the Disney buses to Fort Wilderness. There is plenty of things to do there, like horseback riding, you can rent bicycles, conoes, 2 sitter motor boats, fishing, or just hang out @ the beach.

If you like baseball, the Braves have their spring training just around the corner from the Resort. They have two home spring training games while we are there. Just google Atlanta Braves and pull up their Springs Training tab for the calendar.:thumbsup2

Hurdlertwin - just remember you'll have to transfer at a park or DtD in order to get to Fort Wilderness.
