My family and I are staying at POP Sept 20-27. I decided that we would probably be alot more comfortable with 2 seperate rooms, and of course POP is fully booked. Do rooms at POP come available once the hotel is fully booked or am I chasing a pipe dream?

Are you booking direct with Disney or through a travel agent?

I'd contact the hotel directly and explain the situation - maybe they assume you want two interconnecting rooms and maybe they are all booked, but they may be able to accommodate you with two rooms side by side or very near to each other that don't interconnect, if that is okay.

Deal with them direct to clarify.

Or you could TRY the travel agents - we booked an extra room for Sept 29 through Oct 9 just last week through a travel agent, no problem.

Keep calling! The 45 day mark from when you check in is aug 8th. Anyone who has a package booked during that week needs to pay off the package in full around that date. I would definately keep calling because you may see some cancelations at that point. Good luck!

KEEP CALLING. A CM also told me that MG cancellations clear the system first thing on Mondays so be sure to call then as well.

If you read these boards, you know that people switch resorts all the time. I'd keep calling and checking.
