Hi,

We are going to Pop Century for a few days at end of June before going on to Saratoga Springs Resort at DVC. We have a 3 year old and a 5 year old. While at POP we will be staying around hotel, using pool, relaxing. We would like to be close to pool, food court and if possible the parking lot. Also, less noise the better.

Any recommendations on a particular room or building? Thanks. Also, have I understood correctly, no water slide at POP?

I just got back from Pop Century yesterday and LOVED the location we got. We were in building B of the 70's, room 462. It was on the 4th floor as I requested as I didn't want to hear people overhead. We were right next to the stairs, closest to the food court, main pool and water jet area, as well as pretty close to the parking lot and bus stops. I thought it was the IDEAL location, but we didn't have little children with us so the 4 flights of stairs was okay with us.

When I made my ressie I had requested the 50's or 70's, and when I went to check in, the agent said we were to be in the 90's. I kind of whined nicely and said I had requested the 70's or 50's so he did search and found the room we did get. So, if you get assigned a room that's not really at all what you wanted, if you ask nicely, they might find something else.

We really enjoyed the Pop and would stay there again. The walk by the lake is really nice and all the giant icons are so neat! The food court/store was really good and didn't seem as crowded as the All Stars. Overall, an excellent choice for a value hotel!
