Hi:

Does anyone know if there is a store at Orlando airport where you can buy cases of pop and water? We are flying in from Canada and I want to buy when we arrive. We are taking the Disney transfers not a limo, so there won't be a grocery stop.

thanks

I am sure that if you ask the driver, he/she will stop for you at a Stop and Go Store, such as 7 Eleven, on the way to Port Canaveral. Better prices would be at a Publix, Winn-Dixie, or another popular Florida supermarket. Enjoy your stay in Florida and DCL!!!!!!!!!:smooth:

I'm not aware of any stores in the Orlando International Airport terminal where you can buy buy cases of pop and water. Here's the Web site for MCO: http://www.OrlandoAirports.net/

For shops and services, go to http://www.OrlandoAirports.net/goaa/property/shops.htm and click on the "View larger image" links. I don't see and grocery stores or convenience stores in the list.

By the way, I thought the water at the drink station on Deck 9 was very good -- and I'm picky about water -- so you may just want to bring empty, refillable bottles for water.

I can't imagine that the driver of a Disney Cruise Line bus would stop at a food store and make all the other bus passengers wait.

The DCL buses have schedules and many stops to make to pickup passengers, so they will not stop at a grocery store on the way. :)

If you arrange for a limo service to take you to the Port, they usually will include a stop for groceries or supplies without any problem. Just specify in advance. :)

From our experience the water on board at the beverage station is as good if not better than water you purchase.
There have been several threads on this subject on the most replies share this opinion.

Since you can't stop at a store in Florida some other suggestions are:
Pack some pop and bottle water in your carryons or pack some in a sturdy box and put it through with your luggage, just leave the top open and bring some packing tape to seal it shut at the airport.
If you pack just enough in your carry on for your first day you can easily purchase soda and bottle water at a grocery at your first port stop. You may have to ask where some can be purchased but it will be alot cheaper than spending $$ on the ship. Even though the water is fine for drinking onboard we always bring bottle water for port visits.
Have a great trip.
