Pop warner week

Hi we are going to WDW from Nov 26-Dec 7/06- what can we expect for crowd levels at the parks and what hotels do they stay at? We are staying at POFQ. Any reccomendations? Thanks Kathy

We were there 2005 for POP warner week and we stayed at POFQ. First I'd like to say I/we loved it. It's just the right size. Our 11 year old son could walk to the arcade by himself and go get drinks at the food court and we felt safe about it. The food court is great. We ate there 3 times on the DDP and loved it.

Back to your question. We did not see any of the kids at POFQ the whole week we were there. The pool was fine while we were there. We didn't have any problems during the day in the parks but on Thursday night there were groups of girls cheerleading as they walked through EPCOT. I didn't feel this was neccesary because they were very loud and sort of disruptive to the other folks walking around EPCOT. I'm all for enjoying themselves but lets try to keep the loudness to the compitition. I even saw some of the girls push people out of the way as they were 6 or 7 across as they walked thru the park.

Otherwise it's a great time of year to be there.

Thanks for asking the question as it helped me also. We too are staying at POFQ from 11/29 through 12/7. Hope to see you there - I'll be the one in the Disney T-shirt (ha-ha) We were at All Star Music last year during Pop Warner week and the only thing we noticed were the cheerleaders marching in the parades and practicing in the parking lot of the hotel near their buses. In the parks, for us, they just kinded blended in the with all the other people kinda like after you see 50 of them your senses dull to noticing them as different.
