No idea what the booking situation will be this December but for those who tried to book around this event in the past ...

"Pop Warner is proud to be partnering with Florida Citrus Sports to make Universal Orlando Resort & Camping World Stadium the new home to Pop Warner National Championship week starting this December!"

Nice, I tried to plan around it but usually had one day there when it was going on. I remember the HS day being insane because of these massive "guided" swarms moving around. Then the buses... I have never been so squished before. All I can say is I am glad they settled on a new home. lol

I wonder why?

Maybe Universal offered more relaxed guidelines?

Maybe Universal is cheaper?

Maybe Disney doesn't want to host anymore?

Maybe something to do with nothing I just typed?

Adding...Maybe Disney didn't offer similar discounts and deals to them as they have in the past?

Maybe because they mostly stayed at All Stars and those are closed without a reopening date yet, right?

Works for me!

Agreed. This is bad though. Disney needs the business. I'm sure the all star fans here would prefer their resorts all be open with Pop Warner than closed....for good.

I wonder if this will mean the other All star resorts may not open this year? I am supposed to be staying in Music in December, if not i wonder where i will be placed? How long before your holiday do you leave it before asking your TA where you will be moved?

I'm guessing they are doing alright with the professional league bubbles instead otherwise they would have prioritized Pop Warner over the pros.

How long can they count on professional league bubbles though? One more season, if that?

I'm assuming Pop signed a contract, they ain't coming back to Disney...

It would have been a business decision....those pro bubbles are probably making them a lot of money. They may also be finding that they don't generally need that boost during that time of year anymore. Pop Warner signed a multi-year deal with Universal (didn't say how many years) but you would have to think that was all factored into the decision that Disney made.

All-Star Movies is opening in March and will be hosting some of the Spring Cheer/Dance Events along with Pop Century and CSR.

Pop Warner could be hosted at the same Resorts-this sounds like Disney and PR could not come to terms-either one or both Parties wanted the move to happen.
