Pop warner at all values?

I'm pondering a December trip with just DD, so only a value is needed. But I believe Dec 5-9 is pop warner. Will they be at all the values? Or is there a way to avoid them? All the LM rooms seem to already be booked.

Yes. There will be PW kids at every Value, plus Caribbean Beach.

I know it's been asked before somewhere, but any advice to minimize being near them? We drive to the parks, so buses shouldn't be an issue.

What about Pop Century - I know the younger groups stay there. We are currently booked at the same time, should I look into a different resort? Mostly worried about the noise with a toddler who will need naps and quiet at night.

I can't speak for my own experience, but this was my friends in December. She arrived a day before my DDIL and I arrived, and spent on night at one of the All Stars, and then joined us at CSR. She said she was in the middle of a nightmare all night and woudl never stay at a value again when they were there.

At CSR we barely saw them, and when we did we were treated to crazy good manners and behavior. I have no idea why the difference, because she told me that security was aware of the issues at the All Stars but not able to contain their "exuberance". Perhaps security at CSR took a toughe stand up front before the issues could get out of hand.

I would suggest avoiding a value during their visit, book CSR. The difference in price is minimal when you consider what you are gaining vs. wat you are potentially missing.

My understanding is that you should avoid all Values (doesn't matter that POP isn't listed, POP gets PW traffic), and if you're really determined to avoid, book POR or POFQ, which have minimal opt-out or even parent presence.

This works too! I was too cheap last December but looking back the difference was minimal really

Good info. Are the LM rooms at AoA included? I found that I could do a partial stay there. That might save a teeny bit, and DD would love it.
