Check out the price for a one bedroom Disney Vacation Club room at Animal Kingdom Lodge Kidani ( Look around for a code for a discount and/or ask Disney for a discount-you might get lucky), or Bay Lake Tower. Both have two bathrooms. This will give you two sleeping areas.

Will you be returning within a year? a year less a week? then buy one annual pass and get the annual pass discount on the villa.

Think about the money you could save by eating some meals in the villa which has a full kitchen. Even eating just breakfast in saves a ton of money.

The one bedroom also has a free in room washer and dryer.

We love POP and I have thrown out the suites at Music and the kids all want to go back to POP. I have now found out we can got to the Poly for just a little more money then the 2 rooms at POP. I have 2 things going thru my mind, 1-we will probably miss the second bathroom, but I think it would be doable, 2-at POP, it is not guaranteed we will have 2 rooms together. It will be myself, DH, DD19, DD15 and DS15.

We will be celebrating my 40th birthday and our 10th anniversary and doing 1 park day and 1 waterpark day, the other days will be at the hotel relaxing.

What do you think? Should I go for it and change the reservation?

I read only the first couple of responses, and by those, I'm in the minority.

Frankly, I'd stay with Pop Century and take a trip to the Polynesian later, without the kids.

The first time I stayed at the Polynesian, I loved it. There were things I didn't care for - but I had ALWAYS wanted to stay there and it was such a treat. The second time? Didn't like it at all. For as much as you pay, room size and location are about all it has going for it, IMHO.

However, at Pop Century, with two rooms, you'd have over 500 square feet, and a separate place to keep the kids. As you mentioned also, 2 bathrooms! Huge plus.

The ONLY reason I would have to think twice about it is because of the double bed vs. queen bed issue. If Pop Century had queen beds, not a doubt in my mind that I'd pick Pop Century.
