POP vs. CBR-Which would you do and why?

I'm so confused, I already have a reservation for POP but we may want to switch to CBR. We stayed at CBR in 2000 and loved it but I chose POP this time because it's newer. Which building would you choose at CBR that is not preferred but one that is not too far from everything? Help please!!

As long as I can afford a moderate, I would choose CBR. I've asked for Aruba, which is across the water from Old Port Royale. My first stay there was at Trinidad North, but now it is prefered, and I don't want to pay extra so I requested Aruba which is not that far from the food court.

I would stay at CBR.... bigger rooms.... in room coffee makers and free fridge. I believe that CBR was renovated not too long ago also.

The last few trips, we would book a couple of nights at POP and the rest of the time at a DVC resort; the last trip, which was a spur of the moment, we were there a month ago trip we originally booked POP, but my DH decided to change it to CBR because we've never done a value resort before and he didn't want to start (snob, I know) but this trip next week is for 2 nights at POP, and we are looking forward to seeing what the value resorts are like. I like CBR, but it seems like our room is always MILES from where we park the car.
Anyway, we've been over to POP to check out the store, and the whole place seems neat, and of course with it being so new....that should be cool too. But again, we've always been like cassie, if we can afford the moderates and deluxes, we'd rather stick there. Anyway, at CBR, I think we were in Jamaica both times, and I think it was far from everything...

When were the renovations done at CBR?

If I remember right, the renovations were in 2001-2002. We decided against CBR, in 2001 due to the renovations. Wanted to wait till they were done.

I know the food court, and Shutters was redone in late 2002.

We stayed at CBR, in 2003. It was nice, but we like CSR more.

I pick any moderate over the values if I had the money to swing it! As for the values I'd pick an All Star, because Check-in in early Feb was a disaster. Waited over an hour in line to get to CM.
