POP vs. AS?

Sorry - I'm sure this has been asked before.

I am thinking about trying to book a trip early Sept. in light of free dining! I've only stayed at ASMu for one brief night - arrived after midnight then was up at 6am to do early check-in at WL. The room was fine, but I didn't spend any other time at the resort - didn't check the food court, don't know anything about transportation, (had a rental) etc. I've never been to POP.

So I don't know if I should book at one of the AS or at POP? If you could give me some pros and cons of the two I would appreciate it. I'm especially intereseted in feedback on the food court, size of resort (stayed at CSR once and was glad I was close to the main building!) and bus transportation. I hate getting on a bus and having it make multiple stops before taking me to my destination.

all star resorts might share a bus.

don't think they do in the morning. but in late morning to early evening - they will share one bus.

Pop doesn't.

that say each of the All star resorts has (1920 - expect all star music because of the suites - 1728)

pop has 2880 rooms.

like the food court and gift shop better at Pop. also the arcade.

There is only one bus stop at PC--outside Centennial Hall. The advantage is that you know the bus will be empty when it arrives and how many people are ahead of you. The disadvantage is that it can be a slight hike from some of the buildings that are farther out. Although I've heard there are shortcuts if you go through the parking lot.

I haven't stayed at All Stars yet. PC has suited me so well that I haven't tried any of the other value resorts! *LOL*

Whenever I have the option of the two, I choose POP.

The Food Court is better, service [imo] is better.

AS are nice too, POP to me is more fresh

Either one you stay at, make sure you're close to the main lobby/pool/food court!
