Pop vs AoA

My husband and I are going to Disney in January. Should we stay in a preferred room at Pop or standard room at AoA?

I’d always choose Standard or preferred at Pop over a LM room at AofA.

LM rooms (I believe) are the farthest away from bus and check in/food court. Do you want to walk after a full day at the parks back to your room? I would go POP.

I’ve stayed at both and prefer Pop over Little Mermaid. I just got back from Pop, I had a room to myself and keeping the Murphy bed up makes the room seem bigger. I prefer the AOA food court.

I agree with the other posters. I love Pop and have never gotten a bad room there either way. The Little Mermaid rooms at AoA feel so far away from everything; I would never stay in them again. I would only do AoA again if I was in a family suite closer to things.

I'd absolutely stay at POP. Honestly, even a standard room in the 90s section was fine for me -- cutting through the parking lot made the walk to the main building shorter, but the walk never felt bad at all. The cool thing is that you can always walk to AoA to explore/check out their food court. The Little Mermaid rooms just feel so secluded that it isn't worth it to me to stay there (even though I LOVE The Little Mermaid).

We stayed at POP in September and walked over to AOA one evening for dinner. There sure seemed to be a lot more kids at AOA.
