Pop versus LBV (Best Western)

We have booked the Pop at the AP rate for early December. This is a quick weekend Xmas shopping trip for just 2 adults. We would mainly go to DTD and Boardwalk.

I was told the Pop is a 20-30 minute bus ride from DTD and the LBV (Best Western) was within walking distance (5min walk) with bus transportation to the rest of WDW.

Has anyone stayed at either??? Disney vets what is your recommendation???

LBV is not exactly a 5 minute walk to DTD, but quite a bit closer than PC, and definitely walkable. Also the rooms are large, the balconies are nice, and indoor corridors. I've stayed here once and would do it again, definitely would choose it over the value resort.
