Pop up blocker?

Does anyone know a good FREE one? I downloaded a "hotbar" to my Outlook Express and BAM I'm getting bunches of them... ugh...

You have to teach it which ads you don't want, i.e. when an ad pops up, you add it to the list of blocked ads. I have been using it for about 2 months, and it works great.

Can't help you with a blocker. The only one I know of is through Earthlink. But I do know that Hotbar is terrible for pop-ups! We just took it off so that we wouldn't get all of the pop-ups. It does have so many cute features though.

I also use the one from Panicware & am quite pleased with it. I also downloaded the free version of Ad-aware to deal with the data miners put on my system by Hotbar. I've had very little since I got rid of Hotbar.

How can I take Hot Bar off?

You can't remove it properly if you have Outlook or Internet Explorer open. Close those windows & then go to your Control Panel. It should be listed in the window that appears when you double click on Add/Remove Programs. Seriously, it does not appear in the list if Outlook or IE are open...and simply deleting the folder leaves traces in your registry.
