Pop up ads...have you seen...

...the pop up ad for a pop up blocker?

Every time I get on the computer it is the first pop up to pop up.

Just seems silly to me!

Yes this is what finally got me to purchase Norton Internet Security and get rid of the pop ups.

Yeah I've had it several times I'm very tired of pop ups too. My McAfee is not doing it's job properly in blocking them all...

Norton is far better than mcafee..I've had more than one computer person tell me that they've had problems with mcafee, and have their companies switch to norton,,the longer mcafee runs on your machiine the harder it is to remove..I had mcafee for 1 week and had 2 virus attacks that made it thu, one caused some serious problems.....removed mcafee and installed norton and have been running over a year and nothing has made it thru...

before I blocked the pop ups, I think 90% were ads to stop pop ups.

For a great FREE popup stopper go to cnet.com and download Pop-up stopper free edition.Block all popups and to let the one you want go thru you just have to hit the Ctrl key.

We bought the Norton blocker and still got pop ups. My DH just put in the Google bar and now we get no pop ups. And that was free! I think we spent $50 on the Norton one.
