Pop To Boardwalk Resort - Quickest Way?

We're staying at POP and would like to tour Boardwalk and the Yaght &Beach Club resorts decorations. What is the best way to get there? Thanks for the help. It is indeed appreciated.

I seem to recall that at one time you could bus from a resort to the Boardwalk, but I do not think that is done anymore.

If it were me, I would take a bus to Epcot and walk over to the Boardwalk Resort, then later on walk to the Yacht & Beach Club Resort.

If some walking is not for you, then you can take the bus to any DTD, MK or AK, and then catch the bus to the Boardwalk/Yacht & Beach Club Resorts.

I would just take the bus to MGM, then step over to the dock and boat over. By going to Epcot you must walk through the park, then exit International Gateway. By going to MGM you can avoid entering the park. Have fun!

If you are okay with going through a park - you could do as tiberius suggested - but if you are doing this on a non-park day - you'd need to use a park pass, since the bus would drop you at the front part of Epcot, and there is no walkway around the park to the resort area.

If you aren't planning to go into a park - you should take the bus to MGM. Then you could either walk over, or go down to the dock and take the Friendship there.

The other option is to bus to DTD, then reboard the BW/BC bus from there.

The fastest way would be to take a cab or drive yourself, of course.

Good points there on entering the parks, I didn't think about that. Then again I really don't do non-park days myself.

If using WDW transporation, I would take the bus to MGM and then walk or boat. I think that would be faster than going through Epcot.

Take the bus to MGM and use the Boardwalk walking path from there.

A cab between the Boardwalk and Pop costs around $6-8.

It was so easy to just hop a cab over to the boardwalk. That is about what we paid. We had seven of us and it took no time at all to hop over there!

How long does it take to get a cab to POP? Are there some there already? Or do they have to call one for you? We are also staying at Pop and having dinner one night at the Yachtsman. We have our own car and I'd planned to drive, but with a cab we could both have a beverage or two. We plan to head to DTD after dinner.

If you go to DDT then you can catch a bus from there to Swan/Dolphin. From there, you can walk over the bridge to the Boardwalk and Beachclub or take the boat to either. It is a lot closer than MGM! Have fun!

I don't know about POP but at Port Orleans the cabs were waiting there. It took 30 seconds for them to pull around to get us. AND that was a van since we needed a large vehicle.

If you take the DD bus and then transfer back over to the Boardwalk area, I would just grab the Boardwalk Inn Bus. It really depends on where you are going in the Boardwalk area. The Boardwalk Inn/villas is the closest to the "activities", restraunts, piano bar, Espn. But if you are planning on walking all the way around the lake, you could take a Swan/Dolphin, Or Yacht and Beach club. However, the boat ride from MGM is quite pleasant too. Again I would get off on the last stop BWI if you are looking for the "boardwalk area".
