My ring is more traditional, I'm a mom living in a traditional world. My DP's ring is not as her world is filled with men and some of the comments that come from that are not perfect.

well 1 month and 2 days to go. I've been reading lots of TR from those who have just gotten back and I am so jealous (and drooling thanks to Moms).

We are getting a bout of bad weather tonight (it has already started) and i have to work my part time job. Ugh! Oh well. I just have to keep reminding myself.... 1 month and 2 days....1 month and 2 days....1 month and 2 days.

We're doing Christmas with my family on Sunday and I have heard that Santa will be bringing me a new camera so I'll be able to post pictures of my countdown calendar (which isn't finished-gosh am I lazy or what?!?!) and the few things I have purchased for the trip.

Alright boys and girls. yesterday marked our 1 month mark. I had hoped to get on the boards yesterday but ran out of time. Well it's time to lay out our plans. I am definately open for suggestions and still have a few questions. Please feel free to chime in at any time!

1 month from yesterday: Sunday January 10, 2010: Get up at 3:00 am (OUCH!) and get to the airport by 4:15 to fly out at 5:27. Our aiprort is SUPER small. I think there is only 2 gates. Do you think I should get to the airport earlier??? After a layover in Charlotte we will arrive at MCO around 11:06. We'll take Magical Express to Boardwalk Villas pre-check in and get out KTW card as I am sure the room won't be ready, and drop off our carryon's. We'll check out the hotel for a bit and then head to Downtown Disney. Browse through a few shops and then have dinner with my brother and SIL at Ragland Road at 4:30 (I think). After dinner we'll head to the Magic Kingdom for EMH. We may stop off at BWV to change clothes or whatever. At the MK we'll do her 2 favorites first: Space Mountain and Buzz LightYear, then we'll do my 2 favorites: Haunted Mansion and Pirates. After that we'll do what ever we feel like and Wishes. We may head back to BWV since 3:00 AM this morning has been an early wake up call for us!

1 month from today: Monday, January 11, 2010: Chef Mickey's for breakfast. Than on to the Magic Kingdom to do what we missed the night before. We'll head back to the resort for a rest at some point. She's a napper...and I'll just pace the room. Then we'll head back to the MK to watch Spectromagic at 7. We'll have a semi late dinner at Ohana and then to bed.

1 month + 1 day from today: Tuesday, January 12, 2010: EPCOT day! I think it will be AM EMH for Epcot but who knows if we'll make it. FutureWorld in the morning: Soarin', Test Track, Spaceship Earth (this was closed the last time we went), MIssion:Space, Club Cool, Figment. Then on the the World Showcase. We will have an early dinner at Le Cellier. At some point we'll head back to BWV either before or after dinner to relax and change clothes/get jackets. We'll head back to Epcot to drink around the world and hit up the Tequila Cave. Illuminations and then to bed!

1 month + 2 days from today: Wednesday, January 13, 2010: Animal Kingdom Day! Breakfast at BOMA. Then on to the AK to ride the Safari(she lost our fast pass to this last time and the line was WAY TO LONG), Everest, Dinosaur, Tough to be a bug, Festival of the Lion king and Nemo. The original plan was to do Tusker house for lunch but I think we are going to just get a snack for lunch. Anything else we do is a bonus. After we do what we want at AK we'll head back to BWV rest and change clothes/get jackets and head to Downtown Disney. We'll hit up Earl of Sandwich for dinner and then the 9 pm showing of La Nouba. Then head to bed.

1 month + 3 days from today: Thursday, January 14, 2010: Disney's Hollywood Studios Day! Major Attractions for the day: Toy Story Mania (wasn't open yet on our last trip), Rock n Rollercoaster (on refurb during our last visit), Tower of Terror, Muppets, Star Tours, and I really want to see the UP guys. Anything else we do is a bonus. We have a VERY early Fantasmic Dinner reservation at Mama Melrose (I finally got it!!!). We'll eat and then head back to the BWV to change clothes/get jackets and then back for Fantasmic.

1 month + 4 days from today: Friday, January 15, 2010: Favorites Day! Nothin is set in stone but the tennative plan is to head early over to DHS to get FP for TSM then to Port Orleans to get Bengiets. Back to DHS ride TSM, ToT, And RnR. Maybe take a break at BWV then to Epcot to ride our favs of Soarin', Test Track, ??? and finally on to close the day out at the Magic Kingdom.

1 month + 5 days from today: Saturday, January 16, 2010 pack up and head home. Our flight is to early(10:27 am) to do anything except scramble to use up our remaining credits on breakfast and stuff to take home.

Well it has been 18 days since I last posted. I doubt I have any readers left...
This has been the craziest holiday season EVER. We found out on the 16th that the company that mandy works at full time and I work at part time will be going out of business and will be closing it's doors on January 3rd. Then on the 19th we had a snow storm that hit us and dropped over 2 feet of snow. Next on the 22nd the company we work for shut it's computer systems down and essentially said they were closed for business-meaning we told you January 3rd but just kidding. So we have spent the last week closing and packing up the store. Obviously as a part timer I was laid off last week but she's still on the pay roll until the figure out what they are doing. It has been the biggest mess I have ever seen. What a way to treat your employees! 'You don't have a job, so Merry Christmas!' The best way to look at it right now for us is at least she won't have her employees bothering her while she is on vacation. She will be eligible for full unemployment, but she has a job possibility starting 2 days after we get back from vacation. So that's where we are...

Thank goodness our vacation is completely paid for!!!

We have 12 days to go and I haven't started packing. And to be honest we haven't finished the countdown calendar. How sad is that?!?!?! Even though it's pretty much useless now we hope to finish it tonight. Santa brought me a camera so hopefully I'll be able to take some pics and share with you guys.

Hopefully nothing else will go wrong in the next 12 days.
