Figaro Fries - French Fries served with bacon, cheddar cheese, lettuce, and tomato topping

You can find these lovely fries at the Pinocchio village Haus at MK overlooking the Its a small world loading/unloading area. It is usually not too crowded in there and a great place to wait and enjoy fattening fries while someone is waiting in the incredibly long Dumbo line.

Well I've been absent. I know I know! Nothing worse than subscribing to a thread and then it goes dead. Well at least is wasn't a trip report and I didn't leave you hanging.
Nothing really exciting.
Here's my Halloween pic. I'm a little peeved that she took my picture with my apron falling off. That apron was a BIG pain in the patootie. I eventually safety pinned it on and after that was perfectly fine. The arm elastic was a little tight but other than that the outfit was perfect. I'd probably wear crinoline next time to make the skirt a bit fuller.

GOD I LOOK TERRIBLE!!!!!!

Halloween was a bit disappointing this year. We didn't do a pumpkin, she worked on Halloween, no one came to visit me at the office, and we only had 2 trick or treaters. Oh well what can you do? I just hope Thankgiving and Christmas will be better. I'll be spending Thanksgiving with my family in Nags Head. I'm happy to go and see my family but not thrilled about the drive. Especially by myself. I might take Minnie, my girl dog, with me.

I bought my first Christmas presents the other day. 2 books, so no big deal. But the shocker is that I have started this early. I am usually scrambling until the last minute, and really don't even start until the week before. I think I might by a Wii for Mandy. I want to surprise her but I am terrible with surprising her. Plus she keeps talking and talking and talking about getting a Wii. I finally told her that if she didn't shut up about it I definitely wasn't going to buy her one.

I finally got to watch UP this week. It was really cute! We're not character people but I told Mandy I wanted to have my picture taken with them at DHS.

As for the Trip report update... I bought my first trip stuff today. Travel size: powder, hand wipes, tide pen, tums, tooth brush holder, and deodorant. (I took a picture but won't post just yet). I'm going to start working on our countdown calendar. I'm not good at it but I love being crafty. I went to Micheal's, but was disappointed. They didn't have much Disney stuff, and what they did have was WAY over priced. I didn't end up buying anything. My DSIL gave me a ton of Disney scrap booking stuff a while ago. The trick is finding it. It has been through 2 moves so heaven knows where it is.

Well... off to start working on the countdown calendar... I hope all is well and everyone is getting excited about your up coming trips. I'm so jealous!

It's like a monsoon here too!!!! The wind is crazy strong!

As for a countdown calendar here's what I do. I print a mickey head off the internet to use to trace onto construction paper. Then I cut out all the mickey heads and use a silver sharpie to write the days on. Punch a hole in them all, string em on a piece of yarn, and then the girls just rip them off each day. OR go to Home Depot and grab a bunch of the paint swatches and number them and do the same thing Hope that helps

I have to admit that I one time even ironed clothes on my body in high school. And yes I did burn myself. Lesson learned and I never did it again. Wel maybe I did but just on a lower setting.

2 months from today we will be at Epcot. Having an early dinner at Le Cellier and then drinking around the world!

Nutty- It's still cold an rainy. BRRRRR!!! Will IDA ever go away?! Everyone keeps telling me to go to Home depot for the Paint chips. UNFORTUNATELY the closest Home Depot is about 30-45 minutes away. I'll be heading in that direction next Sunday (going to see a local production of Beauty and the Beast) so I will definately have to stop in and pick some or 100 up. Thankfully on the Disigns Thread some one had mickey heads with numbers in them so I've printed them out and will hopefully finish my count down calendar soon.

Monny-Welcome aboard to my uneventful trip report. Thanks for the kind words on our pictures and our pups. We do have lots of fun even though we are homeboddies. We've been together for 8 years and we keep each other pretty entertained. No problem on the ADR list. Like I said I LOVE spreadsheets. I even dream about spreadsheets. I know, SAD! As for the tag fairies, I think they have me on ignore. Not that I am super funny but I have said some pretty random things on here yet I get no love. I also tend to be a thread killer. I don't know what it is about me but alot of the threads sort of fizzle out and die as soon as I post on them, so I've turned in to a MAJOR lurker. Aye Aye Major Lurker!

Thanksgiving in Nags Head, sounds heavenly! We took a vacation in late May this year to the Outer Banks and stayed in Duck, NC. We've been there three years in a row and absolutely love it. You don't need a vacation from your vacation!

2 weeks from today I will be probably having breakfast with the family and then heading back home to work my part time job.

2 months from today we will be having breakfast at Boma and then on to the Animal Kingdom, Tusker House for lunch (although we will probably cancel this) and then La Nouba.

Although tht eladies over on the January thread have me a bit worried. They are saying Fantasmic Days at DHS are going to be CRAZY! I'm wondering if I should flip flop my days... What do you think?


My parents just got back from Disney. They said that they are sprucing up the Boardwalk Villas, so i am so excited to see all the updates.

Some exciting news I fianlly got the Mama Melrose Fantasmic Package instead of Hollywood & Vine. I'm not super happy that we will be eating 'dinner' at 3:05 but who cares. I love Italian food and I am really looking forward to this. Eating at 3:05 will give us time to eat and then head back to the hotel to change clothes. YIPPIE!

You guys are probably enjoying your vacations....

I had a BAD Thanksgiving. The day before I was supposed to leave I noticed something was going on with my car. I took it in for an oil changing thinking that would maybe fix the problem....... $120 later it didn't. So I had it towed to the dealership and
1. Transmission is bad
2. Electrical problem
3. Needs a new bracket on the muffler
4. New front brakes
5. Timing belt will need to be changed in the next 10,000 miles (and cost $1000)

Well luckily the transmission and the electrical is covered under my warranty, unless the electrical stuff is caused by a bad battery which will then cost around $125. My deductible is going to be $100. Problems 3-5 I am waiting to have the work done on those until I save up the money. Guess I won't be quitting my part time job any time soon. Why does this stuff ALWAYS happen to me?!?!?!?!

So I was supposed to leave on Wednesday around noon. After harrassing the service department ALL day I finally get the results around 4. They were going to give me a loaner but I couldn't take it out of the state. So I wasn't able to go to Nags Head. Bummer.

I did have a fairly relaxing day. Slept in a little if you call 9 sleeping in. Had lunch with Mandy's family around 2, came home, sat by the fire and watched Holiday movies while we put up the Christmas Tree.

I worked on my countdown calendar a little bit today. I should hopefully, and I emphasize hopefully, will have it done by early next week. They way I talk about it you guys are probably thinking it's this huge elaborate thing. It's not...

Well there's not too much to tell. We are VERY casual people. We never really went on dates and stuff our relationship just kind of evolved. I don't know how to explain it but to say the least we aren't traditional people.
She kept asking me what I wanted for Christmas. I never want anything so I was looking online at overstock.com at the cheap fake jewelry. When she turned to me and said "I was going to buy you a real one!" I was so excited. She then proceeded to tell me that she didn't want to buy me a traditional diamond but wasn't sure I was giong to like what she had picked out. So she showed me. It is a 1ct Black Diamond. Georgous! They only offered it in 3 sizes and I was sure that it wasn't going to fit.
It came Fedex yesterday. She opened the box and I told her that I wouldn't look but that she should put it on me to see if it fit. And it fit perfectly! I was so stoked! As I as taking it off she told me to leave it on and wouldn't let me take it off. It's beautiful. The problem is that my camera doesn't work (no worries I am getting one for Christmas from my parents) so I am not able to take a picture. But I did snag one from the internet. Here it is...

We will be there in January too! Our dates are 12-20 and we are staying at the Beach Club!
