Pop room request suggestions

Doing a quick solo 2-day, 1-night add on at WDW prior to a conference in Orlando next month. Staying at Pop with a PH discount rate. I've never stayed value before, so am looking forward to trying it!

I will basically only sleep in the room. Day 1 I arrive at MCO about 9 am, will catch ME to Pop and dump my luggage with bell services (assuming room will not be ready). I'll head to Epcot for F&W, then MNSSHP. Day 2 will be sleep in, then F&W again before catching ME back to the airport and beginning the business-part of my trip.

I've booked standard. What room requests should I make for a quick in-and-out scenario?

Considering that the room is only to sleep in and you will spend no time at the resort....I would say make no request and see what you get. You never know you might get a free upgrade. Making no requests might also get you into a room as soon as you arrive.

Great points! Being able to check in first thing would be great - keep me from having to go by bell services later in the day (or night!).

I've been in some of the most distant rooms at Pop...they were never very far from the main area and bus stops. I have to agree as to not making any requests. Not making a room request really improves your chances of having a room ready upon arrival!!
