POP - Room assignment question....

What are the chances of my SIL being assigned a room close to us if we check in a day earlier? .. We already added our respective confirmation numbers on both our reservations and requested to be assigned rooms close to each other. If chances are slim, do you think I should either make a separate reservation (we don't mind changing rooms) for the first night or stay elsewhere for the first night.

Tyler- We are staying at POP and I really appreciate your help ..I know you are no longer at POP, but, you are after all our "resident expert"

You've already done what I would suggest - link the reservations. The room assigner will then try thier best to pre-block y'all a room where the next room over is checking out the next day. Make sure to reiterate all this upon check in.

Worst case scenario (and I doubt it would come to this) is that you can always room change the next day. No need to create a separate reservation.

When we stayed at Pop in Feb, we arrived two days before BIL and his family. When we checked in, we mentioned to the CM that they were coming and asked if we could have rooms close together. The CM told us he would put it in their reservation and make sure they were in the same building as us. It was no problem at all.

Thanks Saffymom!! We are still debating wether we should spend the night before at my uncle's in Tampa or check in at Disney. Even though my uncle would love to see us, you know I am leaning towards Disney
