pop-requests at check in?

when you check into pop is it possible to request a particular uilding or floor, or is this too late? also does anyone know how much it is to rent a fridge for 2 weeks? thanks

It may be too late to request at check in but you could try-I have request put in by my TA at time of booking-sometimes I get it sometimes I don't. As for the fridge it is 10 a night, but I would try to get in on a swap on budget board or rent one from A Babys best friend-they deliver and its cheaper than renting from resort.

We have been asked at checkin which building we would like so it probably is dependant on how busy they are. If you make a specific request, you may have to wait longer for a room to become available in the area you want.

We usually make our requests at the time of booking and have it noted on our ressie. Then, a couple of days before leavng I will send a fax at the resort with my requests on them.

I know many say that sendiing faxes is useless, but I prefer to be safe then sorry. I have only done this once, and it has worked. Lucky?? Maybe. We'll see if we are 2 for 2 later on in the summer.

We went this past February and I made no requests prior to our arrival. I toyed with changing to a preferred room but I didn't. We arrived on a Sunday morn around 9:30 and there was a small line. I was asked if I had a preference on location, decade, for our room. I said just somewhere not too far out from classic hall/buses/etc. She put us in the 70's section, second floor, I believe bldg 9. It was a great great location. Out our door was the foose ball table or whatever you call it. It was a very short walk each day to the classic hall, etc. I'd love to stay in the same location next February when we go back! I haven't decided if I should put that preference on our reservation or just try our luck again. Have a great vacation.

it really depends on what you mean by too late. technically, even if your room has been pre-assigned, the CM can move you to any other available room, even if it's also been pre-assigned to someone who hasn't checked in yet (unless it's been blocked).

so if you ever check in and don't like your room, just ask if there's something more desirable for you available. it's just best to ask before the CM prints the resort IDs, otherwise they need to go through that process again. so just let the CM know up front you might want to move.

I agree! We put in requests when we book and ask again at check in. We have ALWAYS sent a fax and have been able to get our request every time but once. The last time we faxed was after reading some of the comments here so we asked if they'd recieved it and they informed us they had. It's not going to hurt.
