POP or Swan Reserve or Mix YC/Pop - Need help deciding ???

Last minute anniversary 3nigt weekend 2 day food and wine days. wanted Epcot resort (Walkable) or Skyline resort . Since last minute, all I could get was POP. Make sense for our budget. But it not walkable which I would prefer. Also, not a nice pool. My practical side says stay here.

Love, love the pool at YC but not able for 3N But I could do 2N YC / 1N POP BUT SO expensive. Fantasy is the sand in that pool.

Lastly, just found Swan Reserve for so much less than Dolphin or Swan, But it's further out and have to walk across a lanes of traffic. Don't know if I want to across the lanes to go the main pool. BUT we can walk from Epcot.

Need help fast. Leaving Friday

I posted on your other thread, but I am repeating you will be happy with SR. The road does have traffic, but it isn't a major thoroughfare. It isn't a jam packed road.

You can walk to Epcot and not be tied to Disney transportation ... WIN. I am telling you it isn't that much further out. SR is sooo much better in terms of room and decor compared to S&D. If you found a great rate, snag it. SNAG IT NOW!

There is a pool at SR, but the grotto pool I think you are referring to is at most a 3 minute walk. It is right there! Yes, you have to cross that street, but it is nothing.

I have stayed at every Epcot Resort: BWI, YC, BC, S, D and SR. You will be happy with the SR.

Found a pic (artist rendering), this is the road you are crossing. Looks just like it but the crosswalk is more clearly marked and there is a light. But it is just like this:



See the pedestrians, thats the crosswalk. Easy peasy. And to the right of the picture the grotto pool is behind the bushes and trees.

If the goal is Food and Wine, I would do Swan Reserve. It will be so much easier to walk back to the resort than standing in line for the Skyliner if you intend on staying at EP until closing.

YC so expensive. But I think it may be too late to change. Is it 24 hour prior or 5-days? Going this Friday. Will I be charge for canceling POP for Pop/Art? Can it be considered Modification? Should I call instead of online.

Guess that will be the deciding factor.

I think that you can modify your reservation without incurring a fee if you are changing to a resort of equal or greater value. You will probably have to call if you want a split reservation.
