I have been reading posts about moldy showers and "less then accommodating" staff at POP. I will be GROSSED OUT

if the room is anything less then immaculate!
I'm sure there's not a hotel in the USA that hasn't had a complaint like this. The Waldorf Astoria in New York. The Drake Hotel in Chicago. The Palace Hotel in San Francisco. They've all had their share of dirty rooms and surly staff ... it just happens (one inattentive housekeeper combined with one inattentive supervisor can spell disaster, but that disaster is usually very local and not indicative of every floor or every building of that hotel).
What you don't read about those places and the WDW resorts is the millions and millions of people who had a great time and have nothing to post about because they have nothing to complain about. Let me put it this way ... we never see threads with titles like "Housekeeping did an adequate job at POFQ" or "My room at Pop was clean." We don't start such threads because it's not news when things go right. It's just like TV news. Except for quirky slice-of-life human interest stories, there are no stories like "There was NOT a fire at K-Mart today" or "For the 677th consecutive day, the Chase Bank branch was not robbed."
In other words, don't let a few rogue posts make you think that you are booked in a dirty room.
CBR seamed like they have many small lots close to the rooms. Can any one help me out with this? It probably will make my decision for me!

I know it seems silly but having your car right there is a huge help when you are walking all over "The World" all day!!!
It all depends on your exact room. Not the village, but the exact room itself. There are lots of rooms that are very near a parking lot, and lots of rooms that could be a little bit of a hike to a parking lot.
Put a request on your reservation to be near a parking lot, and request the same when you check in. Paying for a preferred location room will have no impact on this good or bad. Paying for a water view room
will have a negative impact on this, as they would tend to be the farthest from parking lots.
I guess my question boils down to "Do you think it is worth the price difference?" POP or CBR??????
My personal opinion ... If I'm staying with 4 people, I'd pay extra to stay in a 340 sq. ft. room over a 260 sq. ft. room any day.
