POP or ASMU for Nov.

I would love to visit during the full week before Thanksgiving. We would stay value and we have one 9 yr old DS. Should we stay at POP for the renovated rooms(also stayed there in 2005) or should we go for ASMU(never stayed there yet) for the pool's activities? Our DS is very outgoing and I think he would enjoy the pool's activities. Will the activities still be going on at the pool during Nov.?

While I've never stayed at the ASMu with kids, I can say that the activities are really fun. We enjoy watching the films after a long day in the park, and there are always lots of kids participating in the dancing, competition, etc. I think your son would probably enjoy it if he's the outgoing sort.

Also, I havent' stayed at the POP since the rooms were renovated, but the rooms at ASMu have been renovated recently as well, and are much nicer than those at the other All Stars.
