POP laundry question....and a couple other q's too ;)

Does the laundry still take quarters? Seems like our last trip we did laundry at the ALLStars they were changing over to more of a charging system. Quarters still acceptable?

Has anyone gotten the refillable mug lately? I know last I heard they were the same design we got a few years ago only now the handles were white and didn't match the cover color. Any chance they've gone back to a colored handle or changed the design?

Has anyone happened to see a refurbed room yet? And asking again for non-refurbed rooms....they're not too "worn out" are they? We requested a room NOT near the "new" ones but still a little worried they'll look/feel like they really NEED to done over. We hit that at Movies. Stayed right when they were going to start the refurbs and boy did the rooms look like they needed some love!

I think the laundry still takes quarters - just not sure - so be sure to bring your magic band which you need to get in the room anyway.

okay confused you mention Pop in your title, then you mentioned the All stars - which one?

We are staying at POP. I just referenced that our last trip that we did laundry was at an ALLStars and while I know they are not the "same", the laundry system may be the same. Sorry for the confusion.

I'm hoping we don't get a refurbished room in November. The "old" ones are not worn out IMO.

I haven't used POP laundry recently but it my understanding its charge only - someone else may be able to clarify that.

Mugs lasts October had coloured handles and lids but that may have changed since then.

Stayed at Pop in January did a few loads of laundry. Laundry machines no longer take quarters. A card must be used to pay, and I don't think magic bands with charging privileges on them can be used, it has to be the physical card.

I stayed at POP for the first time a couple of months ago (preferred room in bldg 10) and the room was not worn out - it was clean and in good shape. i had a good stay and will probably stay there again next year.
