Did you know that know pop is free starting this week. If you already paid for the pop you get a $150 stateroom credit. I think that is pretty cool!!!

I am very sorry--my 12 year old DD took it upon herself to post this old news under my name. Yes, we call soda "pop". She is being yelled at as we speak.

Will soda now be free onboard? It wasn't on our May 29 cruise on the Magic?? I hadn't heard about this..so it is not old news to me. Anybody know?

There have been several threads regarding this over the past couple of days.

Soft drink dispensers are now located at the deck 9 Beverage Station. Soda will also be offered at buffets. As always, it's complimentary at dinner.

There will still be a charge for soda when ordered at a bar/lounge/counter.

There's one thing that's misleading in the OP's statement that should be clarified. If you booked through AAA, in order to make up for the free drink mugs that they offered, they're now giving SBCs instead. These are the only guests getting SBCs.

Don't be too hard on her Robin. She was very :Pinkbounc

Robin, I know you were upset with your DD, but I kinda think it is cool that your 12 yr old is a Disney-Nut like the rest of us crazies and she just wanted to share some good news with her Disney Buddies. I don't mean to butt in with your parenting. Tell her we say thanks, but the next time tell her to ask for permission first!!

I am kinda :bounce: happy that pop is free too!! (We call soda, "pop" too!!):)

Does anyone know what the SBC for the 3 night Wonder would be?

I booked though AAA.

It's so good to hear someone say "pop". We are from Chicago originally and lived there for many years. When we moved to NC, no one knew what we were talking about when we said pop. We have been here for 18 years and I still say pop when talking to family or friends from back home. but use soda or Coke when out in public. Anyway, we're excited about the free pop/soda, especially since we booked this one thru AAA.

I think we should get your daughter and my son together. He will be 12 next month. I find all kinds of posts under my name about attractions. I never have to worry about him surfing online because the only sites he goes to are Disney related.

We used to call it "tonic" as kids. When I say that now people think that I mean tonic water.

Just to put you all at ease, DD#1 is fine and just got a "talking to". She thought she'd be posting as "welcomed guest" or something, not under my name. I was just pretty darn surprised to see a post from myself!!! We were all pretty excited when we found out we were getting the AAA stateroom credit. We're all Disney crazy here.
