We'll be in WDW in July (staying at POP) and have requested a Handicapped Room. Does anyone know if these are located in specific buildings and are they all on the ground level or other levels as well.

Also, we have a reservation for 2 rooms, hopefully connecting. What is the chance of a regular room being connected to a Handicapped Room?

Thanks!!

if you go to the disAbilities forum there is a thread called Wheelchair/Handicapped Accessible Room Locations and Measurements. It has a lot of info there that might help you

I stayed in room 3103 in the 50s section last month. It had a king sized bed and a roll in shower.

I'm not sure what type of accomodations you requested though. Some of the handicapped rooms have roll in showers and some just have extra grab bars on the tub. But either way I'm sure Disney will do everything possible to get you into a room that connects to your second room. I've gotten 2 rooms a few times before and we've always had the connecting room. The second room was always a regular room with 2 beds.
