POP-great service!

Last week, we stayed at POP for the second time, and we are so glad we decided to go back there. The first night, both of our kids got sick. Housekeeping came 3 times to our room with new linens, towels, and a crib in the middle of the night. They were very concerned and prompt. The next day, housekeeping did an amazing job thoroughly sanitizing our room.

The second night of our stay, dd (7months old) was still sick. POP’s front desk called an ambulance for us, and the duty manager and security arrived at our room to check on us before the ambulance arrived. When she was released from Celebration hospital, the hospital staff refused to help me get a ride back to the hotel without a carseat. It was the middle of the night. I called my dh who was back at POP with ds, he called the front desk, and they immediately sent someone to pick us up. The young man was so concerned about dd and even took us by a pharmacy on the way back to POP. The next morning the duty manager called to check on dd, and everyone at the front desk was very concerned and asking about her.

We are so overwhelmed with the care and concern everyone at POP had for us. They went over and beyond what they were expected to do, and we are extremely thankful.
 
I am so glad that POP provided you with such great service. I am sorry to hear your little ones got sick; I hope your 7 mo. old got better quickly. Were you able to enjoy the rest of your trip? It's never fun when you or a family member gets sick on vacation, but at least POP made the experience easier for you.

Wow ~ that is awesome! That is what customer service should be like everywhere! I hope you are all are on the road to recovery.
 
Yes POP is a great Value resort, CM's wre great in Sept. also
 
Ds is doing fine and really enjoyed the trip with dh. Dd and I didn't have much fun. She's still sick with the stomach virus and double ear infections.

I'm so glad I'll get a chance to make up for this trip when I return in May with my sister!!!
 
Wow, talk about above and beyond! IMHO, you should write a letter/e-mail to customer service and let them know about the exceptional care and service you received :goodvibes

That is awesome service! I am so sorry to hear about this as this was a trip possibly marred by the illness. How horrible for the little ones.
 
Thanks for sharing that story! I'm sorry to hear that your little ones were sick and your vacation didn't go exactly as planned, but I'm thrilled to hear the level of service you experienced was top-of-the-line. Stories like that reaffirm for me why I choose to go back to Disney year after year. Lots of my friends and family think I'm weird for being such a disney lover, but name me one other resort where you'll experience that kind of service?
 
I'm so sorry your DD got sick. I've been to Pop 3 times and have always had good service from them. It is nice to hear that they are even more helpful when you really need them.

You will LOVE WDW in May! The Flower Fest at Epcot is awesome!
 
I'm glad that Pop's peeps took such good care of you and your little ones. Here's hoping that your next trip will be filled with more fairy dust!:tinker:
