:Pinkbounc We are staying at pop in october. We have just purchased the dining plan and deciding how to use it best, We have most of our table service meals reserved. Can anyone help with any with the quick service meals and snacks - how best have you used them. Any specail must trys while at pop.
Thanks :yay: :dance3:

what we have always done with the DDP is use the counter service for breakfast and snack option for lunch ( but if anyone is real hungry we bought stuff of course) and saved the table service for dinner. We have bigger kids so this worked out for us. YOu know start out with a healthy breakfast.....

We do the opposite :teeth:

We're using the snack credit for breakfast (bagels, etc) then using the counter service for lunch (get a dessert too), ts for dinner

Pop food was really nothing to brag about in my opinion or maybe I was just not getting the right things. I thought the food as ASMo was better. For a quick tummy stuffer we got the loaded nachos and they were pretty good, but I don't advise you to take them back to your room if it is a little hike because it gets cold quick and cold nachos are not good..

My family really did like the TYE DYE CHEESECAKE...it tasted just like any other cheesecake but the fact that it turned their tounges colors made it very special.. :rotfl2:

We enjoyed the double cheeseburgers. (I split with my son) The parmesean crusted chicken is very good. The marshmallow chocolate cheesecake was very yummy. DH and DS ordered chilli dogs one night and they liked them. I got the vegetable flat bread (I think thats the name of it) but I throughly did NOT enjoy it. I ended up picking at everyone elses food since there was plenty.

Try the flat bread sandwiches at the Pop food court...yum! We loved the beef, bean and bleu. We found that the combo meals were very generously sized. It was easy to share 2 CS meals a day (breakfast at Pop, lunch at a park or back at pop during our park break) and then enjoy a TS meal once a day.

You can grab a box of Entemann's donuts for 1 snack credit- that's an easy, quick breakfast along w/ a cup of coffee, tea, juice, etc in a refillable mug. They also had large bags of chips (Lays/Doritos/Cheetos) and those were handy to have in room for a snack using only 1 snack credit.

We only ever had breakfast or snacks at Pop and they were all pretty good. The breakfasts were always large and fresh. The best late night snack was a little cheese/fruit/veggie tray - a really nice selection of maybe 3-4 cheeses, carrot & celery sticks and grapes... perfect late night snack!

I like the old fashioned fried chicken dinner at POP- the chicken, mashed potaoes and green beans were so good.

I also liked th lo mein from POP- tasty and big enough to share with another person.

We didn't really eat at the food court much in Jan. 05 (the last time we stayed at POP and on DDP) We mostly eat breakfast on the run in our room. Cereal, toast, pop-tarts, etc. and use CS for lunch and TS for dinner.

I have to sadly say, that we did try the Tie-dye cheesecake and it looked better than it tasted. :sad2: INHO it wasn't "cheesy" enough. Maybe they've changed though and made it better?
